Hi! Great video! I have the exact same setup with a C200 and a EosR. But I have a hard time color matching them for live stream. Would you like to share your settings for your cameras? It looked good in this video. Many thanks from Sweden.
i know Im asking the wrong place but does anybody know of a tool to get back into an instagram account..? I was stupid forgot the login password. I love any assistance you can give me!
@Khari Keaton I really appreciate your reply. I found the site thru google and Im in the hacking process now. I see it takes quite some time so I will reply here later with my results.
I bought 300 Pro and I wanted to buy 400S Pro for my Canon C300 mark III, so I can live stream with two cameras without any cables. This video really helped to make my decision.
Dave, how is it going? I'm about to purchase two sets! I want to use them for football live streaming. Are you noticing any interference between receivers when you place them next to each other on your table?
Thank you very much for this excellent coverage. I was looking exactly this type of information - the DELAY side of it. I'm building a setup for live stream weddings and those would be three humble Sony's (two mobile a7 III on monopods and one a6400 on a tripod) with nice primes, connected wirelessly to the Atem mini Pro ISO. I think that would do it.
Interesting question. When I compared using HDMI vs SDI output on my Canon C200, I didn’t see any delay difference. Also in my test I used SDI output of my Canon C200 and HDMI output of my Canon EOS R. As you can see in my test they both have the same delay. Occasionally I had one frame delay on my Canon EOS R. It could be because of HDMI output vs SDI output, but I think overall Canon C200’s both HDMI and SDI output is more reliable and working without any delay comparing to my Canon EOS R.
Great Video! I was planning on purchasing 4 hollyland 300 pros for my sony a6400's. do you think I would have interference between the multiple transmitters? I saw you used 2...but am I pushing it trying 4?
Thanks. I used two Hollyland 400s Pro and one 300 Pro at the same time and I didn’t have any problems. I’m not sure about using four 300 Pro at the same time though. You should try contact them and ask if it’s possible. They have great customer support.
I have the same setup but my HDMi port to the transmitter will not read on my JVC camcorder . I can use the SDI on port on the JVC camcorder but on the ATEM minpro display shows a green like image
Tengo el mismo problema cuando conecto las cámaras con hollyland 400s pro al atem mini pro salen video verde lo conecto directo de cámara lo reconoce bien alguna solución De antemano gracias
Andrew, thank you for your comment. I would say the latency is little bit less when your preview video in their app compared through their receiver connected to a monitor.
Thanks for a great video, particularly regarding latency with 2 systems operating simultaneously. On that note, how many systems can run simultaneously as looking at utilising at least 4 if possible.
@@austinscherzberg4569 Each transmitter needs its own receiver as they are operating on different channels. How would you switch with only one receiver?
Good day! Help me please. Question about Atem mini pro ISO. HDMI output goes to preview. With Tape-c we write to SSD disk. Ethernet goes to a computer for streaming. I would like one more output to the LED screen of the hall. Please tell me what adapters you need?
Could you make similar video only with Cosmo line from Hollyland? I’m interested to see the delay difference when using HDMI connection vs Cosmo line wireless system. I think it would be really useful to see how sound sync will work when switch the cameras. Thank you
Glad that you liked. If you meant wireless set up using Atem Mini Pro, then yes, I used ethernet to connect to internet. When I connected 400s Pro’s receiver to my laptop using usb c to lan adapter, I just used wifi network. Hope it helped.
@@philpritchard5173 Sometimes we just use our mobile LTE connection for our live stream and depending on the cellular coverage, it works great. I just connect my iPhone to my Macbook using USB cable and turn on personal hotspot on my iPhone. Hi, I am also interested in this question. I tried to establish a connection on 3 different computers with Win10,Win7,WinXP via a USB-E Lan 10/100/1000 Mb adapter (aliexpress) strictly following the instructions. Does not work. The Hollyland website has instructions for setting it up, it has a line: Note: The LAN-Type-C adapter could only be Hollyland Adapter. In your review, not a proprietary Hollyland adapter. Did you manage to set up RTSP USB C - Lan?
I’ve been talking to support and apparently for it to work you need to purchase the official Hollyland USB C Lan adapter for it to work. Supposedly it has some communication protocols built in that allow it to work. And the only way to purchase it is by contacting sales. I don’t know if it’s worth using that feature anymore. Haha
Thank you for the question. When we used two units of 400S Pro in our live stream, we didn’t have any interference issue. I think you can use up to 3 units without interfering each other. Hope it helps.
Hi Alex, thank you for the question. You should always have to keep different channels for each unit. I would say keep at least 2-3 channels difference. Let’s say if you have two units, put first to the channel 2and the second one to 8. This will help you to prevent any interference issues.
If you have your camera set at 4k and record internally to SD card.. can you then connect the camera via HDMI into the 400s and receive a 1080 signal at the receiver ? will it downscale the 4k input to 1080 to allow you to stream at 1080 but still record on the camera at 4k ?
Each camera has it’s own settings for HDMI output. Even if you set your camera to record 4K to internal SD card, you can always set HDMI output to 1080P. At least I have like that in my all Canon and Panasonic cameras. Hope it helped
@@Hayotfilmscom some cameras dont allow the HDMI output to be different from the internal recording resolution though.. it would be good to know if this unit can still downscale in those scenarios when you may need it.. have you tried 4k input to see what it does ?
I just tried it for you using my Canon C200. I changed HDMI output resolution to 4K and it didn’t work. So I think it doesn’t downscale it to FullHD from 4K. I hope it helped
Update: I tried using a power bank with the transmitter however the transmitter was not pairing well with the reciever so I bought an npf970 and now it works well however both the transmitter and receiver are heating up. Don’t know why this is :/
Thanks for the insight information bro. I have two sets of Hollyland wireless transmitters and an Atem mimi Pro iso. They work perfectly how my challage is audio when using DSLR cameras. Unless I use external audio capture device.
Thank you for this excellent video! This was exactly what my team and I needed. Any chance anyone can point me in the right direction for how to adjust the delays he showed in the video. I have three cameras. One is plugged in directly via HDMI to the ATEM Pro Mini, and the other two are using MARS 400s PROs. I'm just not familiar with the ATEM software, so a link to a tutorial or document would be really helpful.
Hi there, i am currently trying to connect my Mars 400S Pro via rtsp to a PC. Nobody ever talks about any problems at that step. But when i connect it via the recommended rtsp://192.168.218.25:5554 i do not get any signal (neither over VLC nor OBS nor vMix) - i already switched Network cables and tried it on three different PC (using the app i get a signal - so basically it's there and the screen states 1080I50). No success. Do you have to prepare your PC in any way for that (besides activation DHCP which is active by default anyway)?
Hi, honestly I had the same problem as you have. The thing is you can’t use any kind of LAN to USB C adapter. There are some recommended devices. Also Hollyland support team connected using TeamViewer to my laptop to make proper changes to make it work. So I would really suggest contacting Hollyland support on this. They’re very helpful. Good luck.
