I am in the Clinton High School band and out of all four of my high school years of competing in and watching boa super regional shows, this is by far the closest show I have ever seen to resemble a DCI band!! I am in love with this show! The marching could have been better at the faster tempos but music is dead on! By far the awesomest show I have seen all year!!
Wow! I'm a Hebron band member and I can't stop watching this show! I love your arrangements of nimrod, midnight city, and the enigma variations. The way you execute them musically is almost as strong a good drum corp. I'm very impressed by your show, and I believe the CTJ band deserved a better placement at BOA San Antonio. I really do love the show design and execution, I wish the band went to grand nationals this year. Anyways, congratulations on a successful year CTJ Band.

Still up there with Eve, Forest Through the Trees, and FlashDANCE as one of my favorite shows y’all have done. The M83 intro is just perfect, mixing the Elgar and the Whitacre, and the closer… fantastic show design.

This isn't marching band...they barely even march and play at the same time. A true, good high school marching band can play and march and sound good all at the same time
Would you please be so willing as to post a link of such a glamorous thing? I'd love to see exactly what you consider a "good" marching band within this country's borders.
You could look at it that way, but you have to take in consideration that high school marching band, or marching band in general for that matter, has become a completely new type of beast, in fact it's not what it was 5-10 years ago, it's forever changing, so I believe this is a definite step or shall I say leap for the CTJ marching band. Congrats on an awesome season last year. Definitely can't wait to get my hands on the new show and start learning!
When do they sound bad? They march plenty, and while they may not be moving like crazy when they play, they look good and sound amazing. But to your first statement..."this isn't even marching band," you are correct. This is better though.

I marched for Steele this year. It was my sophomore year. I loved this show and Bowie's.

Although this show is great, I don't think anything tops CTJ's "Eve" last year. That show made me fall in love with marching.

They used Equus by Eric Whitacre in the 1stish part of the show with the trombones' glissandi.

What is a send off performance, and why are they not wearing overalls. I saw this show at the Yamaha Cup, it was really an awesome show.

We usually have a marching drum major. The usually have solos and fill in for other drum majors when they play their solos.
