8:58 to the climax of the PM’s Love Theme at 10:00 is the most emotional piece of music I’ve ever heard in the activity. 15 years later and it’s still absolutely breathtaking.
For real! My brother was in this show when I was a little kid and this show made me want to do band. I still listen to it all the time now as an adult.
I was at BOA 2005 and saw this live. My band didn't advance to semi finals (we were a few spots out) so we got to watch everything for free. Man... the stuff I saw that year at BOA changed my life. Such imaginative writing going on, and incredible playing.
I would have to agree as well! I've listened to this piece over and over for the last 15 years as well. Every time I listen to it , I hear something new. Whoever wrote this piece is a musical genius! At 9:47 the intricate runs were so well organized and so beautifully created that its sounds are heavenly and it keeps building until 10:00. The musicality is so powerful and spiritual at the same time. It inspires me! Absolutely breathtaking. One of my favorites of all time!
I've loved this performance for as long as it's been up on UA-cam. It's one of my favorites and I'm pretty sure I own at least 1,000 of the views that this video has.
I don’t believe it’s necessary to put down one band in order to praise another, but with all due respect to Carmel, Reagan should have placed 1st in 2005.
This was my junior year. One of the best drills Mark Chambers and co. put together. I can't believe it's 16 years since this moment.
So proud that I got to be apart of this amazing show 🙌🏻
This show is what made me a Reagan band fan.

Agreed. Early 2000s RR HS shows are an everlasting mark of joy upon my soul.

Still thinking about it here, as well… Reagan was perfect that year.
