I get why the author finds Miche interesting, but it's also a standard trope to take a powerful heroic character and have the villain steamroll that guy to show how powerful the villain is (howdy Worf, how's it going).

And I didn’t predict the girl uk who and the sand but everything else to me was super predictable.

We actually saw Nanaba (the woman with the short blond hair) in season 1 but she was barely there and had just a few lines, she's a veteran in the survey corps just as Miche, Hange or Levi.

They weren't allowed to have their odm gear bc they all were still under vigilance in case someone was a spy, while they were confirming if Annie wasn't or not. Even so they had to run away from the titans so they allowed them to get out of that place but they didn't have their odm gears there.

Somethings about the last epispde of season 1 Eren's "new form" at the end is not cannon cause it's only in the anime, in the manga he just stood up and healed normally, he didn't go berserk, more than getting angry he just had more questions about what was Annie's true goal.. At that moment when Eren stood up, Annie was already climbing the wall, as in the anime, Mikasa cuts her fingers so she falls and when she hits the ground, Eren just restrain Annie so she couldn't move to get her out of the titan body, that's when she uses the hardening around herself *(that "fusion" thing doesn't happen in the manga so it's not cannon either)* Pd: don't give any importance to the *skin* , that literally has 0 relevance, Eren's titan has skin and that's it, that's just how it looks, the female titan doesn't have skin and that's how it is, period..
