The world is a wild place. So crazy to see all of these little businesses that pop up to fulfill some need or want that humans have. Taji is the best and I feel like I learn something new about people or life each time I watch one of his videos.
It’s actually insane how a shy mild mannered Taji has time and time again put himself way outside his comfort zone. Like to the extreme on a regular basis. It’s honestly kind of inspiring. I wonder how he’s changed since starting this series on Vice.
Ken said he went through a bout of depression. That can age you. Not sure why everyone is shaming Ken for looking older. He could very well be 24. He's a goof but cmon people. Be better

Good on you for finding something that works for you and helping other men find out what they’re made of and made for. I respect that you’ve gone through the comment section and replied and shared of yourself too; takes a brave soul to wander into people’s opinions these days. Good luck and strong heart to you now and in the future.
All the guys here look and seem like good people who have the wisdom and the heart to seek for success no matter what the challenge, roadblock or obstacle from the present or the past. All of these men have the potential to become great, I respect them for having the courage and stamina to follow this program, especially when cameras are on all day - I can't imagine how stressful that must have been for all these guys haha
I appreciate this comment, Craig. All of the participants in this video are super genuine guys who simply strive to better themselves. I'm not the only place for that in their lives, for they all are involved in other activities and pursue passions of their own (which is necessary!). But its super cool when you can create community and a sense of brotherhood when you have guys who are looking to have fun and push themselves alongside you. I thought Vice did an amazing job with this documentary!
@@thekenconklin Forsure man, forreal. At first I won't lie, you came off pretty intensely, but after heariing your story about losing family and suicide I could see you are actually genuine and you are the kind of man who has once helped himself and through doing so, you have learned the keys to be able to help other men have a chance at reaching the pinnacle as you yourself have. I can relate in a way. I have been suicidal in the past and I've been through psychosis and schizophrenia and whatnot, OCD too, as well as a drug induced psychosis which resulted in me attempting suicide. I am currently 4 months and 8 days clean from Crystal Meth. I'm out of the psychotic hell I was in. Started off hating Ken and question what a twenty something year old really knows about life experiences, but by the end I was saluting this mans old soul. His heart is sincere and beyond his years. Keep fighting the good fight, Batman. More men need to be lead by strength and integrity and not diluted down by their circumstances, shortcomings or lack of role models.

Wow!! What a beautiful documentary. Seems like a rly wonderful experience. Their teacher has a lot of compassion! I'm inspired- i feel like I needed to see this
I agree 100% about the part that if we died right now and started to regret about the things we couldn't change because we procrastinated so much and made so many excuses. That's like the worst form of mental torture for me. All that potential of being your best self just went down the drain. I lose sleep over it sometimes.
The guy has an innocence about him. I would never give a bad review to someone who's genuinely trying to do something with his life the way he is. 5 stars.
Going into this, I thought I was going to be encountering a large amount of toxic masculinity. Instead what I got was perspective and metaphorical/philosophical grounding. Thanks for sharing the world with us, Taji/Vice.
Let me preface my comment, I mean it as a sincere compliment - Taji reminds me of young Louis Theroux. He's sincere, interested & has the talent of drawing out the interviewee's story with his naive front.
I have to say, I usually find guys that run these sorts of courses insufferable at the least, bordering on toxic for the most part. But this guy seemed very wholesome, and genuinely interested in improving people's lives. This was surprisingly heartwarming
It’s awesome vice has such a good sense of humour, taji is the best mix of people for letting people really show who they are without judgment. Well done fam
It's almost sad, because this whole program just displays the power of positivity and that's something sorely lacking in this world. We should all go through this like every 3 months, how much more would we get accomplished as a society?
This guy is great at what he does. You can see that he genually wants people to meat that goal there there trying reach and not just physically. This mindset applys to a lot more than reaching a nice physique.

Hell yeah, I appreciate ya! And The Dark Knight is by far the best one, I just love origin stories and know that I'm in the process of creating mine right now. Would love for you to stick around and watch our videos man!
@@thekenconklin I'll definitely do that! I just subscribed.
See the way the cut the clips when he's talking about his binder is funny af they make it seem so awkward an dumb its funny
I thought it was hilarious 😂
Taji is an amazing and interesting personality like Andrew over at Channel 5. Keep on hard carrying everyone else at Vice, friend!
I really enjoyed this and Kens intentions are completely honorable. His choices of metaphors are relevant and his vehicle is exercise. After a full day working hard or playing hard we truly get a sense of fulfillment and accomplishment. Sitting on my derrier watching youtube, I gain only time lost, (maybe with the exception of this and similar videos).
Nice work Ken, I hope the future holds good things.
I appreciate that! I'd love for you to check out our videos, we have some stuff that I think you'd enjoy watching
Ken is type of person ,which we all need in our life as friend to motivate us at our low
Thank you!
@@thekenconklin how old are you really mr
well except he just keeps quoting batman which is a movie about a fictional millionaire
you know, totally relatable for an average joe
@@penguiin12 Lol my response video I just posted explains
Loved seeing the phone call to the momma! 10/10
Me too, I think it was a great ending to it all
this program might be crazy, but man at the end where got taj to open up about himself and things he truly wanted to change speaks volume, if you can connect with people mentally and humanly you have done something right. Hats off too you!!
The world is a wild place. So crazy to see all of these little businesses that pop up to fulfill some need or want that humans have. Taji is the best and I feel like I learn something new about people or life each time I watch one of his videos.
Every time one of these episodes drops, my day is made
It’s actually insane how a shy mild mannered Taji has time and time again put himself way outside his comfort zone. Like to the extreme on a regular basis. It’s honestly kind of inspiring. I wonder how he’s changed since starting this series on Vice.
Taj wearing his blindfold upside down in the van is great
LOL I know, Taji just does himself and I love it
Ken seems like a great guy. Hope he does well!
Thanks! Would love for you stick around and watch our future videos.
Taji is a national treasure. Protect him at all costs
As a military veteran I loved seeing this. Kind of reminded me of basic training in some ways.
We are all about training on the area of discipline in every area of life
Of all the episodes in this better man series, this is actually the one which helped him to be a better man, Taji Legend
"I couldnt understand how doing these burpees would help me stay off my phone."
Were you on your phone while doing the burpees?
Exactly.
There is no way this guy is 24
He may not be "but" he is future Taji after carrying Vice for so long on his back!
@@crawnyxx he’s talking about the trainer I think

@@JohnnyKarate44 "How about you some" 😂.. Take your own advice!
Ken said he went through a bout of depression. That can age you. Not sure why everyone is shaming Ken for looking older. He could very well be 24. He's a goof but cmon people. Be better
I have a patch of grey hair. PRAY for me that I don't bald too soon!
@@thekenconklin you’re a king dude! Stay humble 💪
There is nothing you could tell me to make me believe that dude is a day less than 40.
Edit: Taj is looking great recently 😘🖤
I scrolled too far down for this. This guy looks twice his age
I was thinking the same thing… also he said his main ideology comes from Batman Begins but he never once tries to vaporize any water supply, so that’s pretty suspicious…
@@asmodiusjones9563 idk man this is kinda like his own League of Shadows
Taj has been secretly using all these vice videos to improve on himself and pay bills
Ken seems like a great guy. Idk why I didn’t expect this. The end beach seen was so wholesome. Shoutout to ken and Vice!
I appreciate it, Sean! I thought Taji calling his mother at the end was amazing, hope viewers can take find something to take away from this. Would love for you to check out our channel man, we post similar stuff. 😎
Hey guys 👋🏼 I just uploaded my "official response" video where I read the most hilarious comments that I saw 😂 Would love for you to check out! You guys rock.
I'm 26 this year and so I have recommitted to self development and to striving to reach the best version of myself that I can be, one day at a time, one piece of work or action at a time.
You are an inspiration bro. Keep spreading hope to this world my friend. Be the light you wish to see in this world, to quote Ghandi, haha. You seem like you are a shining example and that you are doing great bro. God bless you and I'm honoured you replied to my* comment! Peace dude
Guy keeps mentioning and quoting. Batman begins lol
I'm glad you see it the way you do! I try my best to acknowledge that I still have much to learn and experience, and that my main message is about being more disciplined and intentional. Would love for you to check out our videos man, I think you'd resonate / get a kick out of some of them.
Some people cite Batman, and some people cite Marcus Aurelius.
With tajis delivery I never know whether to take his hottakes seriously or not haha
Wow!! What a beautiful documentary. Seems like a rly wonderful experience. Their teacher has a lot of compassion! I'm inspired- i feel like I needed to see this
Hell yeah, I’m glad you liked it! Come check out our UA-cam videos
Coulda been a doctor with that handwriting, thank god he chose to single handedly save vice
Is it just me or is taji way less awkward now. lots of improvement
Yeah money and recognition do that to the ego.
Taji is already a great man, he's kING
I agree 100% about the part that if we died right now and started to regret about the things we couldn't change because we procrastinated so much and made so many excuses. That's like the worst form of mental torture for me. All that potential of being your best self just went down the drain. I lose sleep over it sometimes.
The guy has an innocence about him. I would never give a bad review to someone who's genuinely trying to do something with his life the way he is. 5 stars.
Thanks! This wasn’t a one star review video though, this was the better man series haha
This was awesome. Hilarious and kinda sweet. Ken seems like a nice dude.
Thanks for watching!
Yes. He seems like a cool guy. Everybody's just trying to find their way in this life and I admire him for putting himself out there like this.
There is noooooo fucking way he is 24
4:18 The instructor is already out of breath from climbing a few steps. lol
Probs had covid
I should have drank more water lol
This man will save us all.
Howdy ho🤠
Going into this, I thought I was going to be encountering a large amount of toxic masculinity. Instead what I got was perspective and metaphorical/philosophical grounding. Thanks for sharing the world with us, Taji/Vice.
9:09 I’m loosing it with the flippin blindfold upside down 😂
Let me preface my comment, I mean it as a sincere compliment - Taji reminds me of young Louis Theroux. He's sincere, interested & has the talent of drawing out the interviewee's story with his naive front.
I call bullshit that ken is 24. looks like hes in his early 40s
Tajj just became my favorite journalist ever.
I have to say, I usually find guys that run these sorts of courses insufferable at the least, bordering on toxic for the most part. But this guy seemed very wholesome, and genuinely interested in improving people's lives. This was surprisingly heartwarming
Hell yeah, I’m glad you liked it! Come check out our UA-cam videos
It’s awesome vice has such a good sense of humour, taji is the best mix of people for letting people really show who they are without judgment. Well done fam
Taji is awesome!
Wow .. i was ready to just laugh... but then.. i was really inspired..The host of this mans group, at his age.. has done some amazing work...
I've been waiting months for more Taji!! Started to worry Vice had lost their no1 guy!
It's almost sad, because this whole program just displays the power of positivity and that's something sorely lacking in this world. We should all go through this like every 3 months, how much more would we get accomplished as a society?
Totally agree, I go through specific parts of my curriculum on a daily basis. Self-inflicted adversity is KEY to expansion!
I love the way Taji nods and just basically the way he listen what other people say
I missed Taji please do more content with him
All I have to see is the word “Taji” and I am watching the video 100%.
This could easily break people. It’s insane 😭
That man looks 44 not 24...
8:43 Iol he's slowly matching taj vibes
Haha he was so fun to work with
This guy is great at what he does. You can see that he genually wants people to meat that goal there there trying reach and not just physically. This mindset applys to a lot more than reaching a nice physique.
Hell yeah 🔥
This was quite a lovely episode, Taji seems so relatable, which makes his episode really good. Awesome episode as always!
They did a phenomenal job with this one. I just posted my reaction video, feel free to check it out.
