DIE HARDwood || a woodworking action film
Вставка
- Опубліковано 18 січ 2024
- Watch as our woodworking hero battles Snipe Santos in this short, woodworking-themed action film. Snipe’s purchase of hardwood scrap is interrupted and a shootout and capture scene ensues. John gets another chance to take out Snipe at his nightclub 2 years later in a very unique fashion.
Sometimes woodworking videos can be more than just follow-along build videos. I hope this one, with its action movie clichés tuned the woodworking community, gives you a good laugh.
Don’t forget to check out my channel page for more stuff.
See you on the next one!

Ha! "It's pure.." Stain on bubinga, I cringed. Be sure to empty the dust collector bin. Might stink after a while.
Haha, the one-and-only Jay Bates! Love your stuff man, built your miter saw station in a video 6 years ago. Keep cranking out the good stuff buddy!
I busted out laughing at the nightvision goggle eyes. lol!
They wonder a bit huh. That’s low-budget graphics for ya.
so glad I waited to watch all the way through. The plot, the special effects, the script, the sets and not to mention the method acting. From start to finish a classic. I can't wait for the sequel. Now I gotta run and make a charcuterie board.
Thanks Mark!
Haha!!
That’s pretty darn good!
We loved it!!
I’m glad, good luck with the sleds
lol the credits are perfect haha
Hahah thanks
Loved it man!
Thanks dude
This is how we all play in the shop haha, nice one!
Thank you!
Awesome...Yippee-ki-yay!
Ahaha - you get it
That was utterly ridiculous and over the top and I loved every minute of it. 🤣 This brings my love of woodworking and cheesy 90s action movies together very nicely. We need more woodworking humor like this. 👏
Thanks buddy!
Spectacular!😂
Thanks Dave!
Brilliant, from the staple gun to the somersault.😂
I'm not much of a gymnast...
Dang this is brilliant. This movie deserves all the Oscars. Glad I caught it before it hit pay-per-view.
Thanks dude! Still waiting on that invite to appear on your podcast….
@@Stillworks we don't do guests. But if we do an awards show, we will consider it 😁
hahaha@@BustedKnuckleWoodworks
Hungry hippo 🦛. Lol. Awesome work!
Thanks!
That table saw sling shot 😂
If you know, you know how powerful kickback can be…
That was hysterical. Love your channel!!
Thank you!
Very creative I didn’t know so many shop tools were really instruments of destruction. Can’t say I learned a lot about woodworking though.Lol
Haha thank you sir. Yea I try to balance uploads of three different types of videos (project builds, shop infrastructure/woodworking advice, and just for laughs stuff). Hoping to make something for everybody. Glad you enjoyed watching though!
This was amazing!
Thank you kindly!
Great job!😂. Enjoy your videos so much!
Glad you like them!
This is hysterical. I can't believe you are not getting more views. Please keep doing what you are doing. UA-cam will catch up eventually
I agree. I thought this one would blow up, but I guess I’m still trying to figure out the algorithm. Thanks for watching and share with your friends!
The table saw kickback to the dome...😂
Looked like it hurt huh
Ah, so that's how it all works! :) Had the best laugh in months, brilliant! [Now, somehow I feel 'd like to see woodorking in space, Star Trek style; like USS Enterprise Chief Carpenter missing in action, obducted by Klingons... just sayin' :P]
That’s so ironic you say that because I was thinking of a sci-fy version because I don’t know how much a rom-com would land with my audience. Glad you enjoyed.
So this was the epic video you’ve been working on! It was worth the wait. Great job. Your acting was very convincing but academy award goes to the female lead. Her bite was so lifelike.
Hahaha the camera loves her
LOL, I'm losing my 💩over here!
Glad you liked it!
hoping everyone was paid to scale :D And just think in the time it took to plan, shoot, film, and edit you could have built an entire shop. Well done sire! Well done!
Thanks Mike!
Thanks! Well acted & I really needed a good laugh today! I must say that your daughter really stole the show! I gotta wonder what she thinks about her Dad? 😉😉😂😂👏👏
“Nut job” if I had the guess
Your graphics budget must have been through the roof! I liked woodworking action films back before CGI, though. No one willing to take a real finish nail to the shoulder anymore, ya know? Or a kickback to the groin.
Also, Kerf is a perfect Die Hard villian name. 🗡️👊😏🙌
Haha, glad you picked up on that
dude this is gold! 😂 I mean this as a compliment, but the low quality effects really make this video pop! I don't think it would have hit the same if it was over produced. It's super creative and you did a fantastic job.👊🏻
also I may try the table saw kill shot on my next intruder!😂
Thanks buddy! Glad you liked it.
So fn funny!
Thank you
So...do we get to see...the stained bubinga...?
j/k that was bananas. I wish I could subscribe again!
what a travesty if someone has actually done that,
Wow! Great job. How long did it take to film and edit this? Must have been a tremendous amount of work. Thank you.
One guy, one week. And yes it was a lot of work. Thank you!
Idiotic, silly and just plain daft. I ducking loved it 😂 (fyi autocorrect I never NEVER mean ducking)
Hahah, Thanks buddy!
😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂
Glad you liked it!
@@Stillworks very creative and entertaining 😊😂
@@wonkycutsworkshop thank you, more to come
@@Stillworks great. I can't wait.
😂
Thanks
and who said that woodworking couldn't be action pack. No really who said it?
Glad you liked it buddy
