    I’m sticking with the tried and true 460 for my 79 Bronco

      We have that in our f150. Both are good. Coyote has been great so far.

    Awesome video cannot wait to see the others in the series. I have a 79 f150 that I’m fixing up and this looks like a good option!

      Cool! I'm into Ford's too but the wife wanted a Chevy 🤣. Yeah I'm pretty brand loyal too but I will work on anything as well.

    If those ring gear bolts require 60 degree final torque. They are to be replaced with new since they are torque to yield. One time use only.
    Use some Dielectric grease on the plug boots, protects from corrosion and boots will come out super easy.

    Awesome, Im doing this to my 1993 Bronco. How did you guys mate up the old transfer case?

      Used a adapter from advanced adapter. Had to clearance it a bit to clear the bearing retainer and shift rails. Then I used a twin stick kit for a shifter

    What gen coyote is that?

    What are you using for a transfer case? Starting a coyote swap on my 1979 F150 4x4 shortbed. About to start gathering parts. Would like a 2018 Mustang coyote, f150 10r80 transmission but not sure what transfer case.

      Hey! Using NP205 with an advanced adapter. I was going to use the mustang coyote but they are hard to come by here so I went with the gen 2 truck engine and the 6R80. I heard there's been trouble with the gen 3 truck engine and 10r80 so opted for gen 2.

      Thanks for you response, I’ll look into it. I saw a build at sema with the Godzilla swap but they use an atlas transfer case. Looking at $3500 for one of those. Yikes!

    • @kylesinger2192
      @kylesinger2192 3 роки тому +2

      @@panchovilla2699 they start at 3500 and go way up by the time you get a few options on them. The Godzilla is kinda useless right now. There is 1 place making the engine control and it's like 4500. And it does not do transmission control. There is another company that makes just a transmission control. Adds up in a hurry to use the Godzilla. Ford really needs to release the control pack for it
