One of you asked me if I recommend or advise someone to study medicine in china and in his video I give my opinion on why you should not study medicine abroad and why you should not study medicine in China as an international student.

China is becoming the most advanced country in the world when it come to medical practice, medical tech and pharmaceuticals.
If someone wants to learn manadarin and study somewhere different they’ll think about if and if they are willing to learn the language then they’ll take that opportunity.

I think if you're a foreigner, they won't give a shit about it because you're basically not 'their' people. Though, from what I see, kids especially will be curious and may be direct to ask about skin colour or anything that they had never seen before. If you're worried about it, try researching Malaysia as it's a diverse country with different races and ethnicity. The dominant were Malays, Chinese and Indian. I honestly think they will be more excited to know about foreigners than the foreigners themselves.

hi did you have to have recommendation letters from the professors at the uni from your home country? Did you use any agency or heard of any agency that help students to apply for Chinese universities and scholarships?
If you're studying TCM it would ideally be China over any other country. Thats where it originates and where you would find highly skilled Doctor of TCM Practitioners.... It's all about finding quality instructors/mentors when it comes to effective TCM Practitioners, but the only downside for become a TCM Practitioner is that it would be hard to find a job or to have clientele in the western world as not everyone believes in TCM. Though it is slowly starting to become more popular as people tend to look for holistic/alternative medicine that results in lower side effects. For me personally I support and rely on both western and eastern medicine depending on what it is that I am using it to cure.
Italian med school is very cheap and they have English speaking schools, your welcome.

I'm an international med student studying in china currently I have been stuck here in my country for almost 1/5 years Now china literally sabotage our education I will never ever recommend you or my friends to go to China and study there its horrible idea plz go anywhere else in this world but not china for pursuing your studies.

Go to an English speaking country
I'm a US medical student. If your goal is to practice in the US, do NOT, i repeat, do NOT go to a foreign medical school. trying to gain residency back in the US as a IMG is so much more difficult. trust me on this. It's so much better to go to a US program. Be sure to apply for MD and DO schools to maximize your chances of acceptance. good luck!

I've had mixed results with treatment from American Trained Practitioners. My first Acupuncturist did incredible things with the needles which they taught him in China. He defected to the US during the Cultural Revolution in China.
Where did you do your internship before graduating? Was it in Nigeria? Did you write mdcn exam for foreign doctors?
LIfe expectancy in China is higher as in the US. That tells something about the quality of health care, and medicine studies in China.

It’s not about the learning medium, but when you get to the hospital the patients speak English so it doesn’t matter if you’re studying in English or chinese. When you go to the hospital you will need Chinese to learn
Learning Mandarin Chinese is as important as obtaining a recognised medical certification paper. Future medical trend is the combination of Western medical and traditional Chinese medical. More and more doctors in China master both knowledges and skills which provides better and more effective medical treatment and healthcare solutions to different deceases and human body problems.

It’s never too late. If you really want to be a surgeon or cardiologist, then go after it. 22 years is still so young. I had classmates over 30 years old. Now we are all Doctors and still moving forward

is mbbs in chongqing university internationally recognised?
It’s in the list of accredited medical universities in China so first of all cross check that it is accredited in the country you want to go to but you’ll still have to write the licensing exams to that country

Age limit is 18-35 years fro some universities it extends to 38 years. And If older it is quite difficult to get accepted for an undergrad degree in China

I do not recommend studying medicine in china. I am going to Anhui medical university and it was the worst decision ever. DO NOT I REPEAT, DO NOT GO!

🙈🙈 I am Dominican... If you plan on going to the US to practice, All Saints is a better option. The tuition in China is much cheaper but the quality of education in Dominica is better.

Study medicine meaning ..... Is western medicine or eastern medicine, you did not specify properly. Western is very different from eastern. Western medicine you graduate as Doctor and Eastern you graduate as Physician isn't it ?

Hey after medical school in China can you get residency in the US or it it hard ?
It’s almost the same process as if you study medicine anywhere outside of US. Do you have publications, us clinical experiences, good step scores, strong letter of recommendations etc if you want to go to the US, you study hard and work towards it
There is a 50/50 chance that you will get residency in the USA. also if you gonna study in china, don't do pre-med in the USA because you will be wasting 4 years. Chinese medical school is 6 years, and students can study in a medical school after highschool, unlike in the USA where you have to do 4 years pre-med, and another 4 years MD. plus points are that you will be saving 2 years, also you don't have to give MCAT, but on the downside, you will have a hard time finding a residency even if you scored high in USMLE step 1 and 2 cs, CK.
@@elhamhemat572 I have heard that Romanian med schools are the same way? They actually start right after high school graduation. Not sure if it was Romanian or Ukrainian, but I do remember a high school girl (at the time) posting on a forum that she wanted to go to med school in her home country. She even mentioned that she applied for med school. So, it's likely that in Romania, medical schools start right after high school.
