Bro had to comment and give you props for all the little details like the difficult level of pulling the plastic lock tab on that throttle body pipe. 👏
This job has a fairly high difficulty rating. I give you credit because I am a former MB tech and hate doing these. I did one today and I can see all of the areas where a novice will either forget to reconnect a connector, hose or break a plastic line. There are so many places where this can go badly.
@@AlexTheMechanicha! Book time is 2.3 for intake and 3.1 to go all the way and do the thermostat. Didn’t sound right to me, so I wrote it up for 6 because…experience.
Hi Alex, great job. I want to change the coolant sensor and wanted to know the location as my mechanic told me is below the airtake manifold. Can you confirm it for me please?
Hey Alex, what were the torque specs on the intake ..... i have put that intake on 3 to 4 times and I'm getting misfires on cylinders 1 and 4 ...... intake leak.
I honestly did not torque the intake .. i would say on top of my head 8ft/lbs if they are m6 bolts You should check the gasket first if its really an intake leak
Car was overheating but in the end it was the water pump the issue Dealer told the customer to change both pump and thermostat .. i decided to do the thermostat only to start but had to change the water pump the next day .. i also done a video how to change the pump Have fun!
@@AmgKevo dang man, im sorry to hear that bro! Hopefully you're good now! Taking mine to PepBoys. Labor $700. Bought thermostat part on eBay for $50. Im nervous lol. But thanks for the heads up on the throttle body. I will let the mechanic know!

Great video, i used this the replace my pcv valve on my GLA 250 👍🏻
The connection (clamp) is next to the hose from the thermostat.

@@bobbybrisco9214 HORRIBLE. it's a tight spot and becareful with the throttle body when taking it out due to its plastic housing.
