This is cool if you have a whole production team working in sync.
i dont mean to be so offtopic but does any of you know a tool to log back into an Instagram account..?
I stupidly forgot the password. I would love any assistance you can give me
@Robert Gerardo Thanks for your reply. I found the site thru google and Im in the hacking process atm.
Takes quite some time so I will reply here later with my results.
@Robert Gerardo it worked and I actually got access to my account again. I am so happy:D
Thanks so much you really help me out :D
@Gavin Amir you are welcome =)
It certainly is a lot to consider . 1000 software still have to use a computer and conversions but i do like it
I think its much more interesting to do something with visuals then to convert hundreds of videos and sync them al manually to audio files. Its just not a realistic "everyday" Workflow. There is virtual DJ for that. Not to forget about the price point of a Resolume License. Makes no sense to me.
still waiting for simple
time code or Ableton Link with standalone out
what’s missing here is the piece that StageKontrol does for Pioneer setups - a timeline with custom events. I’m trying to do this with QLab but it’s not quite the right solution, so I’m looking at using DMX triggers within the SoundSwitch show that plays back on the Prime along with the tracks to automate some of the column playback in Resolume, but again it feels like a kludge rather than a real solution. It’d be sick to have actual video queues or just straight customizable events within tracks that play back on Denon gear so they could send MIDI, OSC, DMX, whatever messages. That would open up a whole new world of control. I understand that with big real shows, SMPTE is the way to do this, and it’s cool that even the current level of integration is possible with units as portable as the Prime Go, so thanks for that already, would just love to see some continued development here. If anyone is trying to do more with this too, look on the EngineDJ forums for “stagelinq protocol API availability”. There’s a Golang and NodeJS library on Github that can do whatever with Stagelinq messages, so I’m going to try catching hot queues and sending OSC to Resolume next if QLab can’t ultimately get this to do what I want (hands-off resolume automation throughout an entire set)
🤔🤔 to many steps , I'm to lazy to convert all my videos, I'm just going to keep serato for videos, Denon please create something to conect to the hardware with and HDMI output.
I don't think the processor can handle HD video time stretching
.
Just remember you need Resolume Arena NOT Resolume Avenue. Resolume Arena costs $900 btw. But its cool and I use it on occasion. I also, shameless plug, have a video about it on my "Simple DJ Life" UA-cam Channel. Thanks Denon DJ. #excellentwork
If you have a student ID you can get it much cheaper.
yea it’d be dope if they had a $1-200 “non-commercial” license for learning and people who just mess with it for fun but can’t justify the high price. The alternative, as always, is to set sail for the seven prox-seas 🏴☠️
Great
It's ok for preparing a show / set for 2 hours or so. This workflow it is not practical for a intuitive live-set.
They also have a software called Blackbook that acts as a bridge software before resolume like Serato Video - you can just link each video to each song within Blackbook, and then send each deck or master mixed video out to the VJ
Resolume Arena - 800$ Retail
Denon Prime -1800$ Retail
Any Other Controller around 1200$ or anything less and comes with Serato Video with every feature you already mentioned. lol this is funny
but dont forget with Arena you can use mapping on anything!
Resolume itself is such a freaking headache to use
Es mejor que sea compatible con virtual dj pero que se vean las ondas en la pantalla del denon prime me refiero sea compatible todo y me pasó a prime
YA LO ES
too much work, was doing this with virtual dj back in 2010..
On top of that resolume cost $600
This is crazy to much serato or virtual dj easy
Where do you buy your video clips from???
Un tutorial en español
Kool. Now I can do video with no computer
Mac Joseph still need a computer running resolume.
So I have to terence’s my mp4 file to the resolume file.. can that be stored in an external drive..
The video guy can run the videos for you. This is meant for big production dance floors
So I have to load the video in Resolume and on the Denon unit??
That’s what I wonder too
I feel like resolume acts like Serato would and the controller as a midi device.
This would be defiantly a scripted set vs open format.
what a fucking waste of time plug in VDJ and hdmi it to a projector or splitter to the tvs and video mix or run adds or visuals this is stupid and after all these tedious steps it may come out shitty. why do it?
It looks painfull to use.. sorry
abit boring, what's the DMX like, can it do some defqon 1 endshow light show's
really?? covert our mp4s? all of them? isn't easier to make your software compatible like all the others???😂
