if you want to keep the video playing during the duration of the song go into the Clip tab on resolume and in the transport tab there is an option to have the clip Loop, play back and forth, play thru and then go black, or play thru and freeze on the last frame (; also I'm definitely looking into getting one of those screens you have, it is a great looking set up
Thanks for the info bro. I'mma try it tomorrow. I'm new to Resolume. I was told that it will still only play once and the actual clips need to be the length, or longer, than the song. But the screens are from EachinLED.
Haha I'm a lady but it's ok 😁 and I have yet to try it myself - I just figured it would work, I'll give it a shot on my SC's tomorrow. Thanks for shooting over the model, I didn't realize how expensive those screens were! Holy cow!
Emma Otero oh well then I apologize for the misrepresentation. Cool. Let me know what happened. I’m a novice taking a shot in the dark. I’m just figuring it all out myself while having fun. Thanks again.
I could not get the clips to repeat once linked to a song..I'm updating my resolume program today so maybe that will help. I have been reading the manual though and I know that when you sync a video to a song it is supposed to be the exact same length of the song..
You have a solution with creating loops to be played as long as the song goes? is there an option meanwhile to play different audio without to link them with a clip before?
Where do you get your video clips? I've been trying to get into video with Rekordbox but I have seen conflicting recommendations on where you can get quality stuff for a decent price. Love the review can't wait for part 2! I may be doing the prime 4 soon so looking forward to pt 2
Thanks Dan. Those particular clips came from MOTIONLOOPS. www.motionloops.com I'm really thinking about purchasing the Prime 4 myself. It's a great piece of equipment from what I see in the reviews. The part 2 is coming soon. Thanks again for watching.
The Prime series (two tables and a mixer) runs about $3000 now (it was $6000 six months ago). Resolume Arena 6 retails for about $900. And the LED Panels, let's just say the aren't cheap!! 😂😂 Thanks for watching bro. 👍🏾👍🏾
Thanks for the video man. was wondering about this setup I have been using resolume since arena 4 and just downloaded 6. Been using denon mc7000 for about a year. I would like to be able to use this dont know if its gunna be possible tho 😕
Great video. I have played sets as recently as two weeks ago with the SC5000 and Resolume. @DJ_authentic Instagram; The clips have to be the same length of time as the playing track. However it is possible to change clips during a set. After that the issue is the layer structure. Higher layers overtake lower layers. Choosing "target free layer" in the Resolume clip options solves that problem.
You have to contact them for specifics. Its much easier and cost effective to contact the actual manufacturers > eachinled.com/product/ Rubylin on Whatsapp >> +86 134 1744 1954
I'm using the paid Arena 6 version. There is no monthly fee. Once it's paid for, it's paid for. There is a free version that you could use that has a watermark that shows up frequently and it also has a robotic voice that plays in the background. Just remember there are two versions of Resolume, Avenue and Arena. Arena is the better version. The Arena version is also the one that comes with integration with the Denon protocal Stagelinq to use with the SC5000's or the new Prime 4. Btw, Resolume Avenue 6 retails for 299 euros ($340us), while Resolume Arena 6 retails for 799 euros ($910us). Thanks for watching.
Yes you can do MP4. And I don't think this is Serato compatible. Don't quote me because I don't use Serato. Never have. Besides Serato has its own VJ program and since the Denon SC5000's are compatible with Serato it maybe possible to manipulate the video player with the Denons. Hope that helped a little. Thanks for watching. 👍🏾👍🏾
On the official Resolume website it states that this only works with the x1800 and SC5000/M. But actually, I don't know. Someone should try it out. Thanks for watching.
No, but I do play House Music. Particularly Soulful House, Afro-House, Classic House & Deep House. I also play Hip Hop, RnB, Trap, Motown, 70's 80's 90's 2000s, Reggae. All types but EDM....not really.
Thank you for putting this out! (: much appreciated!

This is awesome!
Yes I agree. Hopefully the updates will keep coming to make the integration even smoother with more features. Thanks for watching.

Unfortunately this only works for the Denon SC5000 and X1800 mixer OR the new Denon Prime 4 Standalone Deck.

Hi man, simple question : wich licence of resolume are you using ? What are the monthly charge to use those features

Can you do actual MP4? also isn’t Serato compatible with this?

Simple DJ Life yea would be smart to simply make it compatible. I’m sure Serato is compatible
do you know if this would work with the denon mcx8000?
On the official Resolume website it states that this only works with the x1800 and SC5000/M. But actually, I don't know. Someone should try it out. Thanks for watching.
