Steve Hartman provides a wonderful service in these videos and on his shows. While most reporters make their career showing the world's underbelly, Steve Hartman is showing it's good side.
My, my, my! These children are and will have an outstanding impact on our society. Thanks, all to the hard work their parents put forth into such an outstanding family dynamic! Love this Series, very well done and much appreciated.
I love that Steve tells them that maybe they don't notice what needs to be done.....instead of just getting angry and expecting them to know. That's good parenting. If you treat your kids with respect, they will learn to treat you with respect.
I’ve reached that point in quarantine where every few days I check to see if a new Kindness 101 video has been posted, because I genuinely look forward to them.
Thank you all once again! I am so moved by these wonderful stories that some of these will be in my sermon for my church that is online tomorrow. I will wholly agree that serving is one of the most fulfilling things to do in life. It makes life so worthwhile! Thank you Meryl, and Emmet for your service to all of us because you are serving others by helping your dad with this amazing weekly program! 😎😎🌻🌻
i know Im randomly asking but does anyone know a tool to log back into an Instagram account? I stupidly lost the login password. I love any tips you can offer me!
Ok, some people would say this is crazy. One morning on the way to work I was on the loop interstate where I live. I saw a woman walking along the beside the interstate. She seemed in distress. I stopped and asked if she was okay. She had just gotten a job after being unemployed for a while. She didn't drive so she paid someone to take her to work. That person was unable to take her to work that day. She was upset that she would loose her job. It was just b/4 8 AM and she had been walking since 5 AM. She was still about 12 miles away from her job when I encountered her. I gave her a ride. She tearfully thanked me when I got her there. I told her we all need a hand now and then. The reason I stated some people would think it's crazy is people don't think it's smart to pick up a stranger. I had to do without a car at one point with havinh a young child. In order to make it to work on time I had to drop my son off early. The principle of my child's school found out from his teacher what my struggle was. He would come in early and let my son sit with him so I would be able to get to work on time using public transportation. I never forgot his kindness.
Your kids are so creative, kind, bright and confident! 🥰 I love each of these inspirational episodes! The love expressed by the barber in this episode! Wow! Keep up the great work, Steve (and family!) You are making the world a better place!
I’m going to start with the first episode and start the series from the start with my 7 year old daughter. She’s an amazing girl, I have three grown boys and I always wanted a daughter and I’m the luckiest dad in the world to be blessed with her. This series is perfect for us I think.
Wow. I'm 72, staying home during the quarantine in San Diego. I was so bored with TV. A friend told me about your program. Now I want to attend all your classes, Steve. You are inspiring me to be a server, volunteer and encouraged. I'm asking God to show me what I can do. I know He will and I'll let you know. BTW your precious children have been BLESSED to have you for a Dad. Linda in San Diego.
I know these are primarily for kids, but as a dad who aged out of foster care, I'm taking notes as much as my kids if not more... thank you Steve for being an inadvertent dad for a lot of us. I've loved your on the road series for quite a few years now and these in depth topical reviews are truly wonderful and educational for all. So grateful.
My father came up with a checklist for things that need doing around the house. He made it into a poster and we would have to look on the poster to see what the next item was. Periodically he would edit the checklist as needed. Eventually we rarely had to consult the checklist. Everything just became a habit. It took the better part of that first summer for that to happen. Today, I still use checklists at home and in my work life.
What a nice looking man, the hair cutter. Lady Diana also understood how people who are in desperate situations need to be touched, and what an impact she had doing that.
Steve all I can say is history is being made & these videos are going to transform the minds of so many people, bless you and your sweet family, as I always say please try some parenting advice videos there is a lot that you have to offer in that area as well & it fits well with this one focusing on kids while the other on parents
Teachers should be sharing these shows with their students followed by Q&A discussions & maybe even small community projects so the kids learn first hand the satisfaction that comes from helping others. ( Grade school thru high school.) We stress intelligence, creativity, excellence , competitiveness and even beauty but we need (more than ever before) to teach kids kindness, tolerance, integrity, and generosity of spirit. These are the generations that will become our next doctors, nurses, scientists, teachers and bus drivers etc. They may all excel at their chosen professions but if we don't teach them the value and importance of compassion and service to their fellow man the world will quickly become a very cold & barren place.
Some years go I did something for a 6 years old girl::she had to have a pill that’s cost 300$ so i steps in not because I’m rich but because I feel the pain that her mother going through-the giver is more satisfied I truly believe:
Matt. 28-30 “a man had 2 sons. He said to the first’son go to work today in my vineyard.’ The son said ‘I will not.’ But later he changed his mind and went. He came to the second son and said the same thing. The son said ‘I will go’ but he did not. Which of the two did the will of his Father?”
Steve, I am going to tell you something you already know. Your kids are awesome!
Another wonderful episode. Thank you Steve and kids.
This show is a form of service to us parents at home looking for ways to involve our kids in ways of looking outside themselves. Thank you!

Agreed ! Steve wouldn't be doing these segments if he wasn't the same type of person himself.
@@muffs55mercury61 I don't know what party he belongs to but if he ran for congress I would vote for him.
