I feel like Blackwall has a much better character than people often give him credit for. Sure he's one of the more forgettable companions in the series but I still think the twist with him holds up. He revealed his true identity because of the Inquisitor, but not because the Inquisitor decided it for him, but because he was inspired by them.
Even though I had him be conscripted to the Wardens, I rather like him.

I personally love Blackwall. I feel that these days, characters that will do the right thing and do their best to put their ideals into practice are due for more credit. I think what cinches my adoration is the fact that he becomes a dad of sorts to Sera, who never really had someone like that. Especially when it comes to characters like Empress Celene and Michel de Chevin, who NEVER own up their actions, Blackwall does so despite the fact that he stands to lose everything, especially if he’s friends or love with your Inquisitor. Just because it’s the right thing to do, and you likely inspired him.

If There Was Ever One Thing I Hated About My Friend Reinier, Like Alistair He Had A Idealistic View About The Grey Wardens, While In My Playthought I Was A Realistic Warden Who Saw The World As It Was But Saw A Better Future.

Beautiful video. I love Blackwall despite I have never romanced him. He reminds my dear father who is dead. Maybe he is not most interested character but he really done a redemption path

Thank you very much :3 He may be not the most memorable character but Blackwall/Rainier just deserved a friendship video in my opinion and I’m happy how it turned out.
And I’m very sorry for your loss! I also thought, that Blackwall had something fatherly. :)
