Sera Friendship // Always and Ever [DA: I]

Here is the 7th DA-friendship tribute (8th if you count the Cole Tribute as a friendship tribute, maybe I’ll edit a new one for him).
I’m honest. My relationship with Sera was kinda rocky. We had our ups and downs and we really had to make the friendship work, but in the end she got a small place in my heart, especially in Trespasser, where she matured a bit. Even though we really have our differences, Sera showed that she is a very loyal friend. This tribute was a big challenge for me, since I had just a few clips with her and for a long time I thought it would never happen. XD

I love roleplaying that Sera becomes my Lavellan’s little sister of sorts. Annoying, stubborn, rebellious, but ultimately a decent gal at heart and somebody they want to look out for, rather than change her or look down on her human upbringing. Makes the relationship more endearing from my point of view.

Personally I'm not a big fan of Sera. She does have some good lines and there's definitely worse characters (like Vivienne), but I feel she's much too childish, whiny, selfish, bit self righteous, and things always have to go her way and you always have to agree with her way of thinking or she throws a fit. Its not that I can't understand why she acts that way, she's one of those people who has to have the world be "just right", and if its not they freak out in a number of ways, but just because I can understand it doesn't mean I excuse it. Plus her romantic relationship with Lavellan is toxic as crap, she can take that ultimatum of hers and shove it
That said, there hasn't been an Inquisitor I've made thus far where I haven't befriended her, and despite my grievances with her I do rather like her friendship with the Inquisitor. I've personally headcanon'd that my warrior Qunari and female Lavellan view her as a little sister of sorts, her and my dwarf are good friends that she can't help but gush about (since she thinks dwarves are adorable), and my mage Qunari warmed to her despite their wildly different personalities
I like to think that my Inquisitors can do good for her as her friend, help make her a better person. They're there for her regardless though
