RIP to the underrated Daveth.
First impression of him was that of the usual sly rogue that probably aimed to serve his own interests.
Instead he showed more backbone and willingness to adhere to honour and duty than that would-be knight Ser Jory (though his hesitation is undertstandable).

I love that quote Blackwall tells you "You are who you choose to follow."
How he used it to become a better person even though he took on the real Blackwall's identity he still followed him until the man died and viewed it as the world losing a good man so became Blackwall so the world wouldn't lose him, then when he follows the Inquisitor he felt he had to do what a good person would do, admit their guilt and past mistakes which I always got him to join the Wardens in the judgement and viewed his surviving of the Joining been that he was too good to be claimed by the Taint
Man! Intercutting the guardian's speech to Alistair with Duncan's death especially was a punch to the chest (and I don't even like Duncan that much). Beautifully done!

@@samfire3067 my Warden Cousland survived for Leliana the woman who anchored him even though it was by questionable means and basically cheating on her he felt Leliana would've understood, he spared Loghain turning him into a Warden despite hating him, he made Alistair king by marrying Anora, went onto become Warden Commander rebuilt the Vigil, protected the city, killed both the Architect and the Mother, then after finding Morrigan and returning the Dalish their book I assume he and Leliana would've travelled together in-between her time serving as the Left Hand of Divine Justina
