my screen is cracked so bad on my laptop. wish could show you or like do short or video to show you to see how to fix? I need replacement in the future. I can still see so trying to save $ and just use it anyway. we have other monitors I could connect to but just use this like it is for now. Just found your video looking into if could fix myself. Thanks for the screen is broken so is this screen full replacement or another part? please post video how to take everything apart to get to where it is in beginning of this video.
Unfortunately I don't have any links but you can search on eBay for a screen or another laptop of the same exact type to use for parts. Just make sure the screen and frame is still good before buying. You should be able to find parts or a parts laptop on eBay, Amazon or FB Marketplace
I would recommend to at least disconnect the battery just to prevent any shorts from happening. You might still screw up but at least you won't fry something. Well hopefully.
@@Projectlalo thanks for the reply bro. This was my first attempt and I can confirm to you that something actually got fried, yeah the flex. I did remove the battery before starting the operation but immediately I plugged in the charger(still with the battery out) to test things out, I heard a frying sound which was followed by smoke. I still can't figure out why this happened though but I sure felt sad about it.
@@madeviral6290 ugh! Sorry to hear that. Unfortunately there's always a risk of something getting screwed up especially when we've never tried it before. Definitely have been there and feel your pain.

hi, where did you purchase the lcd replacement? thanks
I bought a used replacement laptop on ebay and used it for parts.
Is it necessary that I take out the battery before starting the screen replacement?
