Trying to figure this out. My onvif management wont load footage, the NVT section just shows red letters saying error. Also do I need to change the Ip address of the reolink camera? I am completely new to this and it’s not showing up the camera.
Hi. Can you show how to configure your Reolink Duo cameras on the Hikvision NVR. I just bought one Duo cam to test on my NVR, but shows only one out of the two lenses. If you do so, I think you will be the first person to post something like that. Please help and thanks.
can you tell me if i have an onvif compatible ptz camera eg on channel 4 can my hikvision camera on channel 1 call the 3rd party onvif ptz to position 1 that has been set on the ptz? also can i plug the poe ptz directly in the hikvision nvr poe port for power and data if i set the camera up for onvid support before connection?
Nice video, first of all thanks for this. Second, i have downloaded the ODM software and I'm able to see my Reolink Video Doorbell POE in there. Also when searching for cameras it pops up on the HikV NVR. I add it just like you did with another IP of course. It says Offline (Connecting) but nothing more happens. If I change tab and go back it says wrong user or password, but I can connect to the camera with that same username and password using VLC video stream. Do you know what it could be?
Never mind I found out my self. :) I guess HIKVISION have some maximum length of passwords and Reolink doesn't. I tried to add the camera through the NVR and it ran out of charaters before I finished my whole password. On the browser UI I could finish the password. Therefore I tried to create a new user on the Reolink camera and it came right away with the new shorter password.
Yes I did and I could stream through ODM and VLC, but NVR kept saying connecting. As I said I made a new user on the reolink manager with a shorter password and it took it right away on the NVR.
Now, how to make it work with event/motion only recording? Last year I made it work somehow, but it used to miss some events, so after nvr firmware upgrade it stopped wotking.. after downgrade it still does not work. Any advice?
Maybe try adding an SD micro card to the camera plus a PoE switch and an NVR. Supposedly you would be able to record 24/7 with the NVR and access to the even/motion recording and other setting with the SD stuff... Theorically it could work.
@@VastardokKukiao Yes but now I need hivision app (because web interface does not work without windows spyware and I use linux), and reolink app (because web interface is buggy as hell) which is just annoying... but yes, this is exactly what I am doing currently :/
The video shows exactly how to add a Reolink PoE camera to the Hhikvision NVR, so I don't understand why you are asking this question. As you can see I use ONVIF as the common protocol for communication since there's no direct integration between both brands, but it's still a Reolink PoE camera connected directly to the NVR.
Hello, I have a RLC-511W WiFi IP camera. Does it have ONVIF? and can I connect it with Hikvisoin NVR? If yes then can you please suggest to me the NVR model from Hikvision? Please Reply.
Reolink cameras do have ONVIF protocol as shown in my video. Unless you are using the Smart cameras such as Argus 3 or perhaps the model you are using does not have it. Please understand that the IP cameras must have a common protocol to communicate, it could be the manufacturer proprietary protocol, ONVIF or RTSP. I'm sorry but I have no idea about the NVR you are talking about since there are hundreds of brands and it's impossible to know all of them. The idea is simple, you can use the ONVIF Device Manager to test the cameras and read you NVR user manual to check if it works with ONVIF. The video clearly show how it's done, you just need to try with your devices, if it doesn't work, unfortunately there's nothing else I can help you with.
how were you able to add wireless reolink cameras onto that onvif device manager?
Trying to figure this out. My onvif management wont load footage, the NVT section just shows red letters saying error. Also do I need to change the Ip address of the reolink camera? I am completely new to this and it’s not showing up the camera.
How do I get the time on the Reolink camera to sync with Hikvision ? The time was way off from the other hikvision cameras on said NvR.
Salve o un kit Reigy e volevo acquistare una telecamera che può avere letta quale mi consigli 4k ? Grazie

The Hikvision NVR doesn't allow to choose the second lens, so there's nothing to be done.

Did you change the credentils in the ODM (Top Left Side). I believe that's what is missing.
Yes I did and I could stream through ODM and VLC, but NVR kept saying connecting. As I said I made a new user on the reolink manager with a shorter password and it took it right away on the NVR.
I try to add reolink camera to hik nvr but I don’t know the password
You need to know the password for you camera, I can't help with that. If you are not sure what the password it, just reset the camera and start fresh.

How about poe reolink camera? Can you just plug it into hikvision nvr?

Record the audio?
When the camera has a microphone, it's possible to record the audio as well.
