No, any model should work since ONVIF is universal. I worked for Samsung/Wisenet as an engineer for years and I never saw a camera that could not work with ONVIF. Just make sure you update the firmware to the latest version on both devices and also set the date/time correctly. I’ve seen some troubles with ONVIF because the date/time was not correct. Let me know if it works
@@bestsecuritydevices the camera is factory default settings. I just set up password as it was required after the reset. On Wisinet viewer app, trying to add camera, I'm getting not supported device error..
@@bestsecuritydevices Finally, I was able to add it but only connecting directly to the NVR and pre-setting the IP address. Im still not able to add it with having it connected to my PoE switch..
Old cameras stop getting new firmware at some point when the manufacturer discontinues them, however they always can work with ONVIF. I worked as a Samsung/Wisenet engineer for years and it always worked that way.

Does it depend on the Wisenet camera model? I have ANV-L7082R and Im not able to add it via NVR port or network..
