The next time you sell a Bose subwoofer, please show how you pack and ship it. (or have you done a video on that already?) Thanks for the great video and information!)
Question. With an item like that printer will you bubble wrap it and box it up or just put label on the box?
Where do you buy the Cardboard dividers bin? Im looking the way to organize my small items. Thanks you
Hey Jake how are you authenticating your AirPods before listing? I had a new package my friend had given me and I listed on eBay and it got taken down the next day. I had no idea that it was not authentic and either did my friend.
I live in California and thrift store’s especially Goodwill price items at EBAY prices. I saw a pair of worn Hoka shoes for $38.99. I am so jealous watching sellers in other states. Jeans are either $15.99 or prices individually for higher. I need to come to Utah!
ANYTHING is better than selling on Amzn FBA..Bezos n company have made it ridiculous to sell on that platform anymore..think Ebay's fees are bad??
Used to sell media books and was HUGE into vitamins and supplements..six figure + seller at one point..buying gaylords of books media at a time and supplements as well..but with the increase in seller fees, storage fees, returns, race to the bottom on pricing, repricers, and constant battle to get and keep the "Buy Box" it wasnt worth the headaches..also new policies put in place regarding supplements where u needed documentation frm companies and other sources just to sell those items..real PITA!!
Retired old fart now and just sell collectibles with a decent size 10K item and less store..passive income pretty much evry mth i can count on without much effort since i source mostly in bulk..
Yo, JRide, how's it going? Do you have a Poshmart referral code?
It's poshmark. Not postmart
I think I know what you had hernia surgery having been selling hardware for the last few months growing steadily....humping around items in the 15 to 50 pound range daily and stacking those same things in and out of your car to higher shelves etc really takes its toll on your back
Okay, I'm going to be *that* person, but only for your benefit. In your video title, it should be "Better THAN" (not better then). Eeek, forgive me. Appreciate you.
Okay, I'm going to be that person with the comment "GRAMMAR NAZI !!". (sorry)
LOL
Thank you, jodi. Why perpetuate errors, grammer or otherwise. Thanks to Jake for correcting.
haha your disclaimer... i kind of hate that some people act like it's some crazy offensive big deal when you hook them up with information which will elevate them. just clutching you and making you look better! lol
Thanks Jodi😊
He fixed it. Lol
Damm cant believe i been to your town last time i flew to US.
Ebay just dropped fees for selling pre-owned clothing?? is this effective immediately? been watching you for a few weeks religiously now! Just started this year and I'm around $99 a day as a side hustle. Long way to go but you have good ideas that have helped!
That promotion is currently only for the UK. If you’re a US seller there is no change currently. I appreciate you watching!
Jrider. I get so confused bout algorithms. I have been reselling on EBay for about a month. I’ve only sold 4 things with 136$ and so discouraged. I have everything I need for shipping. But I was wondering do I need to buy or purchase for Ads? Help, please. I watch you videos daily and you sell so much , so fast and I’m so slow and wondering if I need to change type of items. Thank you, you are so awesome t all you share. I personally thank you so much. Gods Blessings to you!!
I do both my friend and eBay doesn’t hold a candle to Amazon. A lot of people are doing Amazon completely wrong but I don’t want to give away to many details lol
Love the content, but I respectfully disagree. I sell used electronics and I make twice as much selling them on Amazon as I do selling them on eBay. I'm not worried about the race to the bottom because eBay IS the bottom. I source products on eBay to flip on Amazon. Plus Amazon has significantly more people shopping on it than eBay, and I don't have to take photos of my items like I do with eBay.
I agree. I am doing the same. I am finding all sorts of goodies on Ebay auctions online, and then picking up all those items at that thrift store's warehouse once every two weeks, to flip on Amazon. Easy money.
There’s alot of ways to make money especially online. Just giving another perspective. Many of my friends are getting eaten alive on fba and private label
@@JrideFlips I love your content! I've learned a lot from you, and am still learning - thanks for being you!
Amazon takes half the price in fees
Thanks for all the info.
Ebay has removed my selling limit as of mid March. I don't have a store. I have less than 100 items listed.
Have they done it with everyone?
I first signed up with Ebay in 1999.
Just taken it more seriously the last 2-3 years as I was home healing from a bad car accident. I have 100% feedback. But only 238 as a seller.
I know the title is meant to be clickbait, but honestly, there's no world in which Ebay is better than Amazon FBA, even with Amazon fees. Hell, with Ebay's Promoted Listings most sellers are matching, if not exceeding, Amazon fees at this point. Besides that, Ebay plays its role
It’s not clickbait. It’s to get younger fba sellers like myself to enter a world of reselling they’ve never tried
@@JrideFlips 👍
Yeah I feel like the only thing ebay is better for is categories you can't sell preowned on amazon.
@@mayakoyama9130 for sure!
The lowest rate is for heavy equipment at 3% and NFTs at 5% but who sells them..lol..
what app are you using... Ebay App??
I mean when sourcing to see what sells on Ebay
You just take pictures or scan barcode on the normal eBay app next to the search bar
@@mcname5556 thank you
Jeffs comment to help my buddy Jakes algorhythm!
are you saying that you found a diesel watch at a thrift store?
Yes I find them a few times a year
I think everybody has to realize that the reseller business as we know it is going to be closing down pretty soon. Why, because thrift stores are getting wise to how to use the same app we have to measure the price and they're not going to give things away anymore like they used to. And of course most other sellers will be also using the app. So where's the advantage?
There will be no advantage😮
Only true to a point, Goodwill still has $1.50 for the color of the week on Sundays. I picked up a 1960 Corning Tea Kettle for $1.50 and resold it for $140. The buys are there but my issue with eBay is the fees on fees on fees!
@@zombro7922 yes and they've actually stopped advertising on Google as I understand it
There is ALWAYS an advantage. The best companies and entrepreneurs always win
I use thrift stores for only around 5% of my sourcing. The other 95% is garage sales, rummage sales, and estate sales. If thrift stores are too expensive in your area, switch to garage sales.
@@mauisonthere is no reason those sources will not use the app also
I recieved empty box back on electronic item total scam eBay made me refund wow!!! What do I do
show us how you package up a golf club
I have a video on that! Search JRide flips golf club
They probably spent millions, not billions and billions and billions in marketing dollars.
They did 1.2 billion in adverting in just 2021 alone. They’re are a public trading company and you can find this info if you don’t believe me
You said no return but doesn’t ebay make you return either way
I didn’t say anything about no returns. Returns are a thing across all e-commerce
@@JrideFlipshe's referring to the moment in the video where you said it was going International so no returns. Which there are no returns on International sales
do you offer returns on international?
eBay take care of all international returns through their international shipping program
@3:55 min mark.... why I literally watch this guy. He gets a pass... poor guy lives in Utah 😂
