They were selling water showing CIEL (a name brand and relatively expensive) for really cheap - In fact, my own "Spidey-senses" should have gone off, and alas, after we paid, they gave us "Agua de Don Juán de la Mancha de Tap Water". IT wasn't bad, but it wasn't what was advertised, so again, especially in Mexico, "Caveat Emptor"

The Museum of Anthropology is not to be missed. There's nothing like it in the world. Leave the better part of a day for it. México City has more museums than any city outside of London. And many are quite interesting! Street tacos can be some of the best. Just look for the crowds. Also, don't miss the Zócalo and histórico centro. 👌🏼 Enjoy!

we just went to mexico city in march and i loved it! the food the people the city just everything was awesome! traffic is horrible but everyone being patient about it doesnt make it seem so bad. one of our uber drivers told us that if you use ur horn when its not an emergency you can get fined for it.

I lived and worked in Mexico City(DF) for 18 months. An amazing city. Wonderful food, wonderful people, so much to do and see, and much greener than I imagined. I wish I could be there. Enjoy one of the world’s greatest cities. Must go to Chapultepec castle, the zocalo (the house of Tiles is close by) and el teatro de bellas artes. I spent a lot of time in Coyoacon and San Angel. Only bad part is Santa Fe😁

You need to go to “Gran Hotel” Ciudad de México is one of the hotels in all country with story and elegance and is in front of the Zocalo an the cathedral.
I was just in Chapultepec yesterday and also Polanco. They have the famous museo de antropología. If you love history and art you will be here all day. If you like shopping go to Palacio de hierro in Polanco. Have fun guys!
Mexico City is on of my top three vacation spots. I’ve been over a dozen times since the 1990’s and still haven’t seen everything. No beach so many people won’t consider it. Fine with me! Fewer crazy tourists!

If you're still in the capital and are planningng to visit the outskirts of CDMX, you should consider Tepotzotlán. It's a small Pueblo Mágico about 40 km north of the city. There are some good places to eat right in front of the central plaza with terraces that offer a nice view.

I've heard alot about Mexico City, someone told me they have certain days you can drive depending on which area you live in order to cut down the traffic.
We are taught as kids who are beginning to drive do not honk unless its absolutely necessary we leave honking just for extreme case scenarios such as : emergencies and stranded card blocking your way , and this mostly due to the fact that we consider an insult or put down being honked for other reason and it can be scalated into brawl or nasty figth
The interesting thing about Xochimilco is the history of the canoes, because it is the closest thing to the great Tenochtitlán and in Deaths Day people talk about different legends. The most popular legend is "La Llorona" .That is interpreted every years.
That's what I love about Mexico City! There's always so so so much going on, and all of it cool and interesting! Thank you for bringing back the memories! I didn't notice pollution... nothing that bothered me.
I moved to Mexico city September 18th 2021. I live about 10 minutes walk from that park...and I'm actually sitting in the park now. It's a great place to relax on the weekend.
My wife and I visited Mexico City in April, it was amazing! I hope you made it to the pyramids outside of the city! The museums are amazing also, I see others have mentioned them. I owe you guys a huge Thank You! I was inspired, in part by your videos and a few others, to actually make the trip with my wife.
I can't believe it took you so long to check out Mexico City! I have spent a good bit of time there, and love the place. But beware of pickpockets in the subway and elsewhere!
About the only bad thing to have happened to me in CDMX was to have my wallet stolen on the metro four years ago. From my front pocket! Since then I always have it in a zippered bag along with my phone. Problem solved!
Local here. The Metro is usually VERY crowded, most pickpockets take advantage of that, specially when people get out of the trains on an station, just have your bag where you can see it, usually stay on the corners of the train so you can watch peoples movements and bring a jacket or something similar with internal pockets, it's better to keep your important stuff there.
some of the places we visited while we were there were, los pinos (mexican white house), el castillo de chapultepec was amazing you guys need to see that. frida khalo museum in coyoacan, the mercado in coyoacan has amazing food. a must to try are the churros from el moro.

Mexico City is one of my favorite cities in the world (probably only topped by Rome) there's so much things to do and the food is just great, I think everytime I go I almost push myself into a food coma 'cause u can't stop eating everything. Great video! My wife and I are going to Mexico City & Zihuatanejo later this year for our 20th anniversary and are planning a day in Chapultepec Park and want to do the boats, but will make sure to get the regular boats. I would have probably made the same mistake with the swan boat - he he!
Unless you want to scare away all the baby ducklings and be the center of attention.. definitely get the regular boats! Lol the swan seems to only be a good idea in theory haha 😆

A swan boat on Chapultepec Lake, how funny! For our first trip to CDMX we actually hired a guide for the historic center and Coyoacan and it was well worth the expense.
For food, try “el mayor” that’s on top of the “Porrua library” at downtown Mexico City. Seeme fancy but breakfast prices are very affordable and they have the view to the “templo mayor” Aztecs ruins

You might enjoy cafe de la parroquia two blocks from the zocalo (on Republica de Brasil). Order a cafe lechero, and the waitor will pour the milk into a small glass from a meter up without spilling a drop. I always go there when I'm in CDMX.
Before watching your videolog on Mexico I had visions of Mexico as a uncivilized country, overwhelmed by crime, dirt, murderers, thieves and scam artists. Low and behold, I have been pleasantly surprised by how civilized the country really is - so much so that it's now on my list of places to retire.
I'm glad you changed your thoughts. Not because I am Mexican but it is a beautiful Country every state offers something different and unique. I have visited family here by myself with my 4 yr old son at the time. Ppl questioned me werent you scared???? No everyone was soooo kind and welcoming. Not to mention my son loves visiting mexico hes 6 now and still remembers everything we did in our trip. You must visit one day. You won't regret it.
I love Mexico City!! To much to do.. check out el monumento de la revolution... I just wen in May and did that and was awesome!! Also try the tacos al pastor with pineapple.. they are the best!!

Mexico City is my second home , all my family is from there. We live for Cumbia Sonidera & Rock en Español, i love it. Make sure you go to Las Pirámides de Teotihuacán , El Zócalo & Basílica de Guadalupe .
I missed you guys by a week. I was only one day and I went to the Angel, la Alameda, Bellas Artes, and then to the Zocalo (in that order) took Ubers, Metro-bus, and walked. I hope you enjoy the rest of the city.

We visited Teotihuacan on a Hidalgo trip we took with some friends. The trip itself was pretty hectic so we didn't end up making a video about it

This is true. Mostly for older cars. They can't "circulate" certain days of the week.

Xochimilco is all dirty water nothing interesting there..

We were SUPER cautious with our stuff during this trip because of how many people shared their pickpocket stories with us beforehand. So crazy!

For food, try “el mayor” that’s on top of the “Porrua library” at downtown Mexico City. Seeme fancy but breakfast prices are very affordable and they have the view to the “templo mayor” Aztecs ruins

You might enjoy cafe de la parroquia two blocks from the zocalo (on Republica de Brasil). Order a cafe lechero, and the waitor will pour the milk into a small glass from a meter up without spilling a drop. I always go there when I'm in CDMX.

Before watching your videolog on Mexico I had visions of Mexico as a uncivilized country, overwhelmed by crime, dirt, murderers, thieves and scam artists. Low and behold, I have been pleasantly surprised by how civilized the country really is - so much so that it's now on my list of places to retire.
México is a great country don't forget that. Come and see allá its beauty. You will be welcomed.

I'm glad you changed your thoughts. Not because I am Mexican but it is a beautiful Country every state offers something different and unique. I have visited family here by myself with my 4 yr old son at the time. Ppl questioned me werent you scared????
No everyone was soooo kind and welcoming. Not to mention my son loves visiting mexico hes 6 now and still remembers everything we did in our trip. You must visit one day. You won't regret it.

I love Mexico City!! To much to do.. check out el monumento de la revolution... I just wen in May and did that and was awesome!! Also try the tacos al pastor with pineapple.. they are the best!!

Mexico City is my second home , all my family is from there. We live for Cumbia Sonidera & Rock en Español, i love it. Make sure you go to Las Pirámides de Teotihuacán , El Zócalo & Basílica de Guadalupe .

I missed you guys by a week. I was only one day and I went to the Angel, la Alameda, Bellas Artes, and then to the Zocalo (in that order) took Ubers, Metro-bus, and walked. I hope you enjoy the rest of the city.

Love everything about CDMX, but my favorite trip was to Pyramids of Teotihuacan, and the Old Aztecs discovering at the Historico Mexico, Near the Cathedral and Zocalo. Have a great time guys, really enjoy watching your videos.

Don't forget the House of Tiles! Touristy, yes, but locals go there too and it is so beautiful and an authentic house from the 1700's.
