For me, Aesop is a poet that happens to rap. The way he thinks about language and how it fits together is second to none. Some of his side projects are interesting as well. Malibu Ken and The Uncluded, although that latter steps more outside hiphop there is something about it.

Great review dude. You pretty much nailed the meaning of the track in your wrap up. It's an indictment of the music industry in general (shitty new artists that are all convinced they're "sketching with DaVinci's hand" and producers and labels that traded love of music and community for love of fame and $$) and how Aes couldn't deal with being a part of it anymore.....so he dropped out (went "missing") moved into a barn in Oregon and wrote and produced this album on his own.
