@@thedesensitizedsympathizer5307 I mean, they're adults. they have an understanding of why they're there.
When I was around nine I was playing baseball, and we had this kid who's dad would literally yell at him for every little thing he did on the field. If he struck out, his dad would yell at him. If he missed a throw, his dad would yell at him. He pulled him out of a game because he was walking too many players on the pitching mound. Trying to mold your kid to how you think he should be is a good way to make them despise you.

OMGFILE A REPORT ON YOUR CLOSE FRIEND
Fr or atleast talk 2 em and make sure they hear & listen too you.
They may say 'oh, my child wants to do this, she loves it,' but at this age, kids are extremely impressionable and if they hear their parents say that pageants are good then they will mimic and internalize that and act accordingly without knowing if they really like it or not. They don't even know why they're doing this. It's like these parents are showcasing their children in front of adults while wearing bathing suits...that is creepy as shit, I agree Optimus. Enroll your kids in Esports, they'll grow up to value hard work, not just looking nice on the outside.
Psychology Nerd or how about regular sports?
Why not just make them work on a field
Or maybe high standard schools? If a child recognizes at a young age that hard work for the right purpose pays off, they keep that stigma with them for life.
Doesn't matter that much where at, provided it isn't doing something to mess them up.
Just teach them that hard work and effort pay off.
Have the child play and socialize with kids and teach them the value of education along with other things teach them useful skills

You see it a lot in sports, too. It's really sad. Let the kids be kids.
@@Kryxx07 You see it with academics too. I remember missing trick or treating on Halloween in 4th grade because my dad had scheduled my private math tutor for that night, not thinking I might want to do what every other kid in the country was going to be doing. Really, kids are not usually highly motivated to achieve, but when you are young you are most able to learn new things quickly and easily. So a bit of pushing from parents is a good thing, but some parents just don't understand that there needs to be a balance for the kid to develop in a healthy way.
Thank you for the tutorial but I'm perfectly capable of ruining my 3-year-old child's life on my own.
