I kinda came out to my mom as lesbian yesterday!!
So it was late, like midnight? She was watching a movie and I couldn't sleep so I sat on the sofa with her. We began talking and she asked if I was into girls or boys? And I answered "girls". Normally when this kind of question came up I would answer "I don't know" and she would say that she would accept me anyways. But when I answered "girls" she was like "Yay! I'm so proud of you, and I'm happy that you feel comfortable with coming out! " So I asked if she knew and she said that a friend of me had told their mom that I was gay and then my friend's mom said it to my mom. And I was happy that I didn't tell her something she didn't know, and then she showed me a website with a LGBTQ+ group for youth and I was soooo happy, and then we bought some new hoodies for me and I went to bed. SHE WAS ACCEPTING!!!

being greyromantic means you only experience romantic attraction some of the time. sometimes it’s there, sometimes it’s not. then asexual just means you have little to no desire for a sexual relationship. the op probably has another sexuality (straight, gay, bi, whatever) they feel when they’re not more on the aromantic side of greyromantic but didn’t mention it because it wasn’t related the the original post. hope this helps, and please correct me if i’ve gotten anything wrong!
