Hi guys and sorry for the long delay between videos! This one was actually filmed a month ago but Isabelle started kindergarten so it's been a never-ending cycle of getting sick. Both of us had covid in early Sept (I'm 3x vaxxed so it was thankfully mild) but then another cough/cold end of Sept. I'm finally getting over that now and really hoping to upload on a more regular basis. This DIY is a sequel to the Buff Bear Bread because I still use those molds a lot and thought it would be fun to have some new designs. I didn't go with the fake bread effect this time since that's been done already, and instead went with the mochi method and a glittery one.

when you make silicone squishies in silicone molds, use a mold release! you can use petroleum jelly (vaseline) thinned out with mineral spirits if you don't have access to an actual proper mold release. it'll make your crafting so much less stressful

i love this but things can definitely still have harmful fumes without smelling too offensive (eg epoxy resin). i would always reccomend wearing a respirator

You could try mold release if you haven’t used it! I’m not exactly sure where to get it but it may help with the squishies sticking to the molds.

You could cut off the eyes (black paint) before melting to make things easier and saving more mochi squishy to be remolded

Idk if mold release interferes with the jelly resin but it might be worth checking out if you consistently have issues demolding projects :)
