Nano tape has lots of other uses aside from just making bubbles! You can wrap clay or slime inside to create very satisfying squishies. For this DIY I also used two layers of tape to make a banana skin or pea pod that you can peel open. The trickiest part here is creating the boundaries between where tape should stick and where it should peel. You have to use liquid soap to mark the non-sticky areas but since it's invisible it's a bit harder to work than glue. Once nano tape gets wet it won't stick at all so be careful not to apply too much at once.

SHOPPING WARNING: Something to watch out for when ordering nano tape online is that many sellers use images that are quite misleading. The tape always looks bigger and thicker than it really is so you really have to double check the width of what is being sold. 3cm /1.2" is the absolute minimum and ideally you want to have 5cm / 2" tape. Unfortunately I've also experienced sellers sending the wrong size despite me ordering the correct dimensions. So if in doubt, double check the listing description and don't get the cheapest product which is more likely to be a smaller roll of tape.

Yes that's a great idea! They will definitely last longer if filled with clay.
Could colored hair gel work? It might last longer though it does have a different texture
@@jackmaddox637 any dye would work with clay but you probably should use food safe ones. There's some good gel food colouring and it's a lot cheaper than hair dye anyways. The reason the peas don't last long is the water in them.

Couldnt you just peel off only some of the nanotape cover and then cut it so part of it is sticky and the other part is non stick? would be less messy than using soap.
