@@Raisedbybats My sense of scale was originally set by seeing the walkway to GLaDOS's chamber at the end of Portal 1, so it was nice to get that upgraded in Portal 2!
What I like about it is that it doesn't feel forced. And he just doesn't really feel evil to me. Just a loveable idiot that's in over his head with this new power. But he did call me smelly and bossy, so we gotta have a talk about that.

Valve apparently does a lot of blind play-testing during game development. They probably found that almost no one considered that a lever would be how they progress, so they just decided to slap a prompt there.

Hey don't hate wheatley you will make his back story worse his back story is. When The scientists were making glados she was trying to kill them with neurotoxin so they made a idea dampening core aka wheatley and he is meant to damper her i q to slow her down so he would cram lots of bad and dumb ideas so it would make glados dumber so she would be distracted from using the neurotoxin she ended up ignoring wheatley he was not working anymore which is why he was not in the first game he got removed but after that he has just been giving a lot of hate he never got any positive comments in his life like even the scientists because he was not working anymore he was a failure in there eyes and all the turrets and every over robot saw him as a waste of space jerry fired him from the nanobots work crew and the foreman he was talking about he made a clone of himself think about it he hated him so much that he would rather a clone of himself and he put him in charge of the humans think about why they did that he was so much of a failure that they wanted him to stay out of the way and stay out of there LIFE'S which comes on to your character remember what I said he had so much hate he thinks that you were doing same that you did not care for him so he betrayed you right? Well he thought YOU betrayed him he was hurt he thought that you were using him and that you and glados were pals who were pretending to be enemy's which hurt him when glados said he did not do anything he was hurt by that too because that would have been what they told him that he is useless and can never do anything right because he screws up everything he hates being called a moron because it reminds him of his purpose and he hates it he thinks you did not care when he fell off his rail because he said he could die falling off it and you never told him that you killed glados wheatley is a broken tormented being he is a victim who never got any love from anyone in his life so don't be mad at him he tried his best he really did #wheatley needs love.

He lashed out at us and hurt our character, so I was just giving back a little banter. But I don't think it was his true intention to hurt us. He's just over his head with this new power and his own issues. I really like Wheatley and I even like GLaDOS aswell. I think they are both really funny and well written. So I hope we can help them!
