Thank you Mr Andrews for everything Rest in peace sir. I'm 23 and very happy all because of this world you introduced me too. Funny story. When I would misbehave in one of his lessons, he would always say, "I'll see you at 6:30" and no he wasn't on about detention. He left the world beating me every time we sparred. As a joke, other teachers would not threaten me with detention, but would say " I'll tell Mr Andrews to make sure you don't leave the ring tonight".
At 11 years old I was mugged in the street by a 20 and 19 year old and I was crying in the middle of the street but one of my dad's friends was walking along and he asked me why I was crying, he then asked me if I wanted come and train. I asked him what sport does he want me to play and he said 'None, because you don't play boxing.' I'm 58 years old now and who would've thought that our neighbour taught me discipline, dignity and got me fit and healthy.

I'm not exactly a boxer but what I train in requires boxing skills and it's the one I work on the most out of self protection skillsets. I was bullied hard growing up, at home and at school. My older brother was my worst bully until I hit back. I soon realized it wasnt luck that I knocked him out with one punch and after that nobody was able to bully me again, I have heavy hands and had a but of a gift. I've been a bar security officer for the last 18 years working at clubs at night and I've had a lot of ups and downs through my life, training has been the one thing that saved me in more ways than one!
