How to Install PlasDECK Boat Decking

First we chose the colour then the pattern. We made a pattern of the boat deck and then created the decking in the shop. The deck panel was cleaned with clean rags and denatured alcohol. Glue was spread with excess glue cleaned up. The final step was to use a heavy panel roll to ensure bubbles escaped. This segment was featured in episode of the season.

You used to be able to get kits for any specific boat. Now, you have to do templates for everything. Or, have a dealer do it for you. So, it ends up being a very expensive, labor intensive project. Save your money and use snap down carpeting. Or replace your old worn out carpeting with new carpet. Much less expensive.
