I *LOVE* Loki's new theme. I legitimately hope that this is his _ACTUAL_ theme in his new series, and _NOT_ just music made for the trailer. While listening to this, it struck me that I couldn't remember how his ORIGINAL (previous) themes sounded, so I went back and did a (UA-cam) search of his previous themes, ( _Thor_ , _Thor_ : _The Dark World_ , and _Avengers_ ). ...and MY GOODNESS. His previous themes sound so... generic and _blah_ . Like the basic generic "bad guy" riff from a big budget film which had NO PERSONALITY and NO HEART. None of his prior themes were even recognizable to me, they were so bland and generic. In fact, you could interchange his previous themes with various other movie baddies and not even notice. Meanwhile, THIS theme is LIFE. Whenever I hear it, I automatically think of Loki. They did a _beautiful_ job with this gorgeous song. Props to the composer and also to *Samuel Kim* , who _PERFECTLY_ recreated this song in such a SHORT TIME. I hope some studio exec or film producer notices his work and gives him a job composing some big budget blockbuster. ❤️
So my theory is that he basically became an Multiverse Agent or something that fixes timelines? Along with just being Loki and trying to screw everybody and escape this forced job. I mean Kevin did say that it is basically a "cop thriller" (or detective?) type of show.

The genius of it was they did find some of the ransom money and they showed some of the money flying in the air when Loki was taken into the bifrost. I think it was about 6k that was ever found.

I love how they play the mischievous aspect of Loki's personality with the piano (above a bombastic chaotic orchestra), especially as Tom Hiddleston has said one of the things he loves about playing Loki is how Loki can play all the keys/notes. It was the inspiration for Owen Wilson to ad lib "I can play the heavy keys, too" as Mobius in the interrogation scene in ep 1.
I do love the art in the music it starts as something subtle, sneaky as if theres someone sneaking around causing mischief but then the orchestra and quire really kick in and reveal it as something divine and mighty. Grant was cast in an unknown role, but it is rumored he is playing Old Loki (the guy does look like Tom Hiddleston in 20-25 years). That could be how they do your idea.
I just love that it looks like they're going to reference the Loki For President storyline, which did a lot to make the character seen as less of a villain... Hell, Loki is now the "God of Stories" in the comics, he's gone full good and given up his title as the Prince of Lies!

Remember people complaining (reasonably) that the MCU lacks memorable chracter themes outside of maybe some of the phase 1 films? Just imagine in Avengers 1, or in Thor, Loki showing off with this music. Would've been a million times better and much more memorable.
Someone made an edit of the first Hellicarrier fight (the turbine scene) making use of the character's themes as they were seen. It's honestly 150% better than the original. I love the movie, but keeping the character themes is rare for Marvel lately (except the main Avengers theme...and GOTG).
That's true, i cannot remember Captain America's theme, yet i know he has a very distinguishable one, but the only theme i can rellay remember is Doctor Strange's, and it's a damn good theme.

I was first nervous about Owen Wilson being in the MCU because his acting style and typically genres he stars in didn’t fit my idea of marvel, but after seeing the trailer those fears went away. He seems perfect for the snarky, mischievous and kinda prideful guy Mobius seems to be.
