This music isn't getting nearly the attention it deserves. Too many fake videos claiming to be the trailer music. Hopefully the official trailer is resume enough for you, you certainly caught the ears of everyone there!
I missed that song, once they uploaded part of the film's soundtrack to UA-cam and it was songs like this, but they deleted it when uploading it, I just listened to one song and it sounded fantastic, it's a shame there were no pieces like that in the movie. Something must have happened to get the original parts removed.
I watched the Wonder Woman 1984 trailer at least 10 times in a row on launch day just to hear this amazing version of this song. You sir are a genius. AMAZING version of an awesome song that really takes me back to being a kid in the 80s
Sadly, trailer music is always superior to the film's score these days. I think Casino Royale was the last time I left a theater wowed by the score. The quality is declining at an alarming rate. A good majority of the most talked about modern composers are honestly terrible. I suppose those that came before them set the bar way too high. Sebastian just raised the bar for whatever guy or gal is scoring 1984. I seriously hope producers/directors start knocking on his door soon.
As a child of the 80's, this feels so nostalgic and completely captures that vibe. You know it's a good track when it can transport you to another era.
Sound rather difference with wonder woman 1984 sound track movie version, he doesn't bring the 80's beat synthesizer back, but i dissapoint with this Bohm cover music with no beat disco anymore. I am 34, and its that time of life, like many of the grown ups before me who have come and gone, reminiscing to their childhood pop culture influences. The OST and titling style of Wonder Woman will bring a new resurgence to the 80's Synth Wave Music, and introduce it to this to the new pre-teen/teen generation. And for that one good deed of many, I thank you. From India.
Synthwave has been making a comeback I think ever since Mass Effect came out. You also have Stellaris recently that uses it prominently. So, it's been building for the past decade or so.
I'm surprised that, in the end, this is a single song. Usually the transition in a trailer music is created by a composition of two different songs (e.g. Thor Ragnarok trailer). This is a great cover btw. :)
The composition actually ends with a really similar melody to the main theme from the originals score. More hope that this could actually be in the film.
I grew up to the original version, and I am very grateful to this orchestrated version too. The violin and the orchestral percussion is exactly what Blue Monday needs!

You just made me fall in love with the song even more, your version is total perfection and made the Wonder Woman 1984 trailer one of the best trailers ever!
*@Sebastian Böhm ~* Your work for this Trailer Music Cover works very well for two important reasons... 1. *_Easy Recognition_** ~* Any child of the 1980's (or those fluent in the media of decade) will easily recognize this as _"Blue Monday,"_ by New Order. And even those who are not of the '80s, who simply look it up, will listen to the source-song and say, _"Yep, that is what I heard from the WW '84 trailer."_ *;)* 2. *_Befitting Wonder Woman_** ~* Obviously, simply a straight cover of _"Blue Monday"_ is not enough. A character like Wonder Woman needs a heroic &/or adventurous theme as well, and you deliver it here while still keeping the source-music recognizable. Thanks for your work, and for uploading this, *Sebastian Böhm.* :)

i might rise out of the coffin if they play this jam
That explains why you wrote this comment
What an epic rendition of one of the most fascinating songs from the 1980s. A brilliant masterpiece worthy of inclusion on Wonder Woman 1984. Bravo Sebastian!
I'm adding this song to my running soundtrack.
What held you back adding the original in the last 30 years? It has better tempo for running.
I must have listened 10.000 times to this song and it never gets old. Epic!
This version makes you feel like you can strap on some 80s gold, grab a rope lasso, and go save the world ✊🏼🤘🏼✊🏼🤘🏼✊🏼🤘🏼✊🏼
Or an 80's style techno Spider-Man-esque outfit..
2:27 This is my favorite part, so EPIC and STRONG.... I love your work, keep it up! I bet you’ll become in the next Hans Zimmer. You’ll become an important part of the history of music!
Oooh this is soooo good! The power of music!!
Wonder women brought me here...Thank you sir for this wonderful music...❤❤🫂
Sound rather difference with wonder woman 1984 sound track movie version, he doesn't bring the 80's beat synthesizer back, but i dissapoint with this Bohm cover music with no beat disco anymore.
I do like the original New Order group music in movie version with full beat disco synthesizer, but i don't like on this Bohm cover version with full orchestra, very dissapointing, Bad Composer
Literally the best version of this song ever in the history existence
First of all: congrats to @Sebastian Böhm!
As many of you, I recently discover this music and artist because of WW84. And now, so did my neighbors. Every day. Several times a day. On loop.
Esta versión es espectacular. Entiende perfectamente la esencia de la original y tiene la épica propia de una película de super héroes. Felicitaciones desde Chile
I run to this track all the time. It's so energizing!!! Wooh!!!!
This may be the most perfectly suited song ever crafted for a trailer!
This is definitely somebody who deserves a lot more subs than what he has
I'm not even a fan of this type of music and you've already made me one (Talent is talent)
I hope after making this masterpiece and introducing a whole new generation to this great 80's song I hope you get great recognition and a lot of success from it
The combination of this 80s song with orchestra and electronic sounds is so amazing!
This Friday, folks.
Diana may be a princess on Themyscira, but she is a QUEEN to us mere mortals 👑
You just made me fall in love with the song even more, your version is total perfection and made the Wonder Woman 1984 trailer one of the best trailers ever!
There are only two covers of Blue Monday really worth to listen to. Orgy's and this here. Great!
And even those who are not of the '80s, who simply look it up, will listen to the source-song and say, _"Yep, that is what I heard from the WW '84 trailer."_ *;)*
I wanna walk in a room with this song playing and have everyone staring.
Get in line...
Slomo mandatory. Pigeons optional.
🙄😏
in slomo!
I swear I almost want that song for my entrance at my wedding in 2 weeks 😂😂😂
I keep coming back to this version 7 months later! It's excellent. Great atmosphere. Thank you, Sebastian!
Damn .. i feel me young again .. the 80th was the best ever !!!
I love the tense buildup, but I also love how it builds up sounding serious then suddenly drops into a fun groove, feels like 'ah it's the end of the world but we can still have some fun'
No I say it's more: Prepare for an almost apocalyptic sci fi war... with a 80s motif
its been over 3 years now, and Im still getting into the mood for the weekend with this tune, dear Sebastian I hope you are well and healthy :) best regards from Poland!
