Legend says that this 11 year old became a medical teacher in medical school.
She's only 17
First aid should be mandatory for schools to teach, from simple cuts, bruises, and fractures, to the Heimlich maneuver and cpr instead of teching us FREAKIN SQUATS.
And a high school graduation requirement .
You know - squats can prevent you from ever being in need of CPR.
Amanda Stevens
Amanda Stevens ...instead of doing the freaking pacer test
Amanda Stevens YAY im the 100th LIKE!
There are so many kids that are hero's to the point that this statement is true
Not all heros wear capes~
Everyone has the potential to be a superhero if the opportunity presents itself.
schools: should be teaching things like this
what schools really teach: what is the total of the foUr siDES Of tHe sQuAre
yeah
Marie LOL TOTALLY!
For me in secondary school: 3x + 45= 68
BINGO! Schools should be teaching more about how to live in this world.
@@jessfidler2356 or (2²)².(2.x) or idk ekfketkfv im done w school
I know damn well that I learned CPR from the show on Netflix “The Office” and it also had a scene that you do CPR with the “Stayin Alive” song!
and adults say netflix doesnt teach u anthing and its bad! XD
You can also do it to baby shark
“At first I was afraid, I was petrified” - Michael Scott
I LOVE THE OFFICE!
I learned the Heimlich (I don’t know if I spelt that right) from a JadenAnimations video.
What a kid!!! Parents are beaming!!!!
My dad saved me when he found me after I'd had a seizure in the bathtub. Good for this girl that she is teaching others how to do CPR.
I saved my friends life in the 5th grade when she was chocking on a Starburst. I didn't even know CPR at the time. 😐😇
If you don't know CPR and you do it, it can be dangerous to the person you are doing it on
+marta smith yeah but at that time I was in health class 😂
+TheValetodo01 so you can still kill someone like that
+marta smith Ok.. Jeez she still alive though. But I know CPR now so 😂
I remember choking on nodles once it was really bad I thought I was going to die until I threw up on the table in the middle of the restaurant people were looking at me in disgust and i was crying afterwards and went to the bathroom then home
The Narrator Dude: But why is this 11-year-old so passionate about CPR?
Me: She obviously watches Greys Anatomy.
i- am- dead-
*WOW!* She is amazing. Even with the knowledge, you wouldn't expect the confidence to act so quickly. Especially when it is a friend. Most kids would panic and looked to an adult to save him.
My hat is off to this girl. I'm glad she is pushing others to learn.
If every adult had basic emergency first aid. So many lives could be saved every year.
I learned cpr at 10, during summer camp too. In the 40+ years since, thankfully I've never had to use that training.
1:18 😂 When your enimy is dying...Heheheh I’ve been planning this!
"Stayin' Alive!"
That kid in the fox T-shirt with the glasses looks like one of my best buddies! Good work for this class. All schools should teach this.
That girl should be given an award she is a hero.
When I was in high school, cpr was something you had to pass if u wanted to pass 9th grade
That’s good!
same at my school but only the class with the principals daughter got their cards and certificates showing they knew cpr the rest of us kept asking but never got them. if you weren't popular you didn't need to know cpr i guess.
her in the 6th grade : *saving a life*
me in the 6th grade : *eats playdough*
staying alive is a very ironic song for cpr
No it's the perfect song
An ironic song would be Another One Bites the Dust.
Irony is the exact opposite. Like for example if you were downhill skiing (I live by a mountain. forgive me) and wiped out on a course called Wipeout that wouldn't be ironic. If you wipe out on a course called You Wont Wipe Out that would be ironic
Kari Herna that's how I learned it
Kari Herna you are just angry because she came up with the idea before you
Very mature for her age. The desire to help seems to have lit a flame.
Truly an amazing young woman what an angel, you would be proud to have her for a friend. SJ
Someone almost dies:
Kid: IT WAS PRETTY COOL
i love seeing educated children. truly so inspiring to see
GOOD GIRL ! YOU ARE AWESOME !!
This girl’s gotta be a favorite child.
The smart thing about her is she knows that she placed her hand on the right place because she could’ve cracked the rib cage
Atta girl Skylar..Young motivated and very determine future R.N ready at a moment notice ready to do what she learned to save a life... Bless you!
I saved my little sister from drowning
my little sister tried to drown me.
AwesomePancakes woah woah
AwesomePancakes 😂
ok
Saad Alnabulsi why do people like you always feel the need to make people feel bad for you and give you attention this video is about her not about you getting likes and making people feel bad for you it's not needed for you to point that out this video is about her not you
I learn more things off UA-cam, Tik Toc,etc. then in school
Awesome girl! She'll do great things!!
Wow. What an impressive little lady. I hope she pursues a career in the medical field in the future.
Everyone need to learn CPR if you do not know how you should learn
David kid looks high.
lol
Sam Lung 😂😂
Blank's LINE PLAY stfu
julissa hernandez umm that’s a little offensive because no one in this video is retarded
@@julissa1000 you shouldn't say that word
Wow this is amazing
That’s so nice 👍 you go girl 😃
So awesome!!!
CPR is really what schools should teach I’m 11 an a half years old and I’m in 6th grade and I don’t even know CPR
From UA-cam videos, I kind of know CPR, and the heimlich maneuver, but I was never one-on-one taught. If it came down to it, I think I would be able to save a life if I had to.
Good for her!
You go girl
I recently saved my friend with cpr doing it to the song stayin alive! Great song 😅
I'm glad she knows how to do that!!
I learned cpr at school in 7th grade
My middle school gym class had a cpr unit and I'm happy I know it and I'm happy I've never had "the chance" to use it in the real world
Chest Compressions, But No Mouth-To-Mouth?
Doing some thing is better than nothing. People sometimes don't want to do mouth to mouth due to infections, etc. Look up aha American heart association
That actually is the latest recommendation for laymen. The oxygen level in your blood usually is high enough to be sufficient for up to ten minutes, or even longer. Thus it is not necessary to interrupt the blood circulation by interrupting CPR to give someone mouth to mouth.
Desmodontinae100 This is absolutely correct. The new recommendations have nothing to do with risk of infection, but rather the fact that if you only have one person performing CPR, it is more critical to keep the heart pumping until help arrives than it is to restore breathing. So we are no longer supposed to stop chest compressions in order to give breaths.
Well, I guess it's too bad that I've never had an opportunity to blow glass! LOL
Weston Huffman pervert
The 28 people who disliked this has no heart
Go skyla ❤️❤️❤️
Wonderful
Aww this is cute😊
I just am started crying it's can't believe my eyes
So that's why they teach us this stuff in the military. I have been taking it for granted.
Our school needs us to participate in life saving and we learnt cpr and stuff. Dr's abc
Just shows that children really are paying attention and pick up on things. This goes for the great as well as the perhaps negative behaviors.
I learned CPR my sixth grade year to and first aid certified free course and you get the liscence that shows you completed the course
A lot of people can do that.
Theory Time!
“Stayin’ Alive” is a song to the beat of the compressions in CPR. CPR keeps you stayin’ alive. Maybe they did that song to teach you about CPR?
Wow! She’s so pretty! I wanna be like her.
My dad is a fireman and saves lives every single day 😊
I saved my brother from drowning:)
god bless you
Doctor Mike taught me chest compressions chest compressions
911 operator : fire department what's the address of the emergency caller : he's not breathing
Everybody gangsta till David pulls up
I learned safety tips from watching the Superfriends PSA's. I remember Batman doing the Heimlich maneuver on Robin.
Wow...
I just realized something this was posted on my birthday
I also learn CPR in 6 grade! but it was in school and not actually summer camp. ;0
Woah. I want that girls autograph now
Cool!cool!!!
Ah GrowTopia!
In 5th grade a classmate got a license for CPR.
kid is choking* R U OK BOI R U OK
how old our you i am glad you leared how to save anybodys life
Thats nice
My parents were emts, so I knew cpr, at a very young age.
i know the kid was too shy to be on camera but i would have liked to hear from one of his parents about how thankful they were that their kid was saved by this girl. i mean come on!
I learned cpr in allied health
That's cool
CPR in school is legit. I saved two people's lives at age 22 bc I learned rescue breathing in elementary school. I was at a kickback and a couple OD'd at the same time (bad batch I guess? I don't know, I wasn't using it). Everyone else freaked out and ran away bc they didn't want to be there if the cops came. I was also scared to call 911 because it was the home of the people who were OD'ing and I didn't want them to get arrested for possession. But I managed to revive one before the other while alternating between them (it was scary, they were gurgling and turning blue and shit-- I remembered the girl was hypoglycemic which makes people OD more easily so I poured a tiny bit of soda down her throat too which was dubiously wise but I decided to roll the dice, not sure if that's why she revived), then she helped me revive the bf.
U can do cpr on a phone when it dies
HOLY
SH*T
THAT IS CRAZY
Now she’s in the 10 grade
I almost drowned when I was 3. I almost blacked out until someone just pulled me out. I ask everyone about it today and no one remembers. Of course only I remember because I was the one who experienced it. I'm pretty sure it was a stranger who pulled me out because I didn't tell anyone about it.
I learned cpr when I was 5
I bet she has seen all 17 seasons of Greys Anatomy
Did he just say it was pretty coo!?!?!?
Really at 1:23 the the bday boy said IT WAS REALLY COOL and I am like wow just wow that is cold
For some reason this reminds me at camp when my friend got stuck in a chair and I had to grab her my other friend grabbed the chair and we pulled
I am a little mad because last year at 11 years old I gave the Heimlich to my friend that was choking on a cheestick
I shut up and did not brag because it sucked to talk about and she probably bragged about doing something any good person should do
I learned it when I was 6
You can do CPR while singing baby shark to get the timing right. I felt ridiculous doing this.
I'm sorry but
✨ t h e o f f i c e ✨
Admirable. However if someone is severely choking or gagging: tell them to touch their toes while standing or resting beside a stabilized chair, wall, or vehicle, etc. (to basically do a safe handstand, to allow for gravity to pull the morsel out, if it’s not water they are choking on). Also use the derma roller technique BEFORE you ever get into a situation on that causes your mouth to be closed such as chewing, or if you have mucus or a cold. If you are feeding someone senior or in a wheelchair OR INFANT, remember, they must be SITTING UPRIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It is IMPOSSIBLE TO CHEW OR REGAIN STABILITY OF ONES THROAT WHILE LAYING ON ANY BACKSIDE!!!!!!! DUMMIES ARE OKAY.... but rest them VERTICALLY. In my opinion: DONT TOUCH ANYONE OF THEY ARE GAGGING OR CHOKING! Just give them space!!!!!
É UMA BOA MENINA QUE PARA ALÉM DE TER SALVO UMA VIDA AMIGA, CONSEGUIU QUE SE DESSE INSTRUÇÕES DE REANIMAÇÃO NO CLUBE OU NA ESCOLA (NÃO ENTENDI ESSA PARTE). MAS TEVE UM GESTO HERÓICO. DEVÍAMOS TER TODOS A NOÇÃO DE QUE A QUALQUER MOMENTO ISSO PODE ACONTECER A QUALQUER UM DE NÓS E NA VERDADE NÃO ESTAMOS PREPARADOS PARA SALVAR VIDAS. CERTAMENTE PREFEREM ENSINAR AS CRIANÇAS A TIRAR VIDAS ATRAVÉS DE FILMES VIDEOS OU JOGOS COM FINS INFELIZES.
She is a very good kid like if you agree
a a a a stayin alive, stayin alive🎵
omg I went to this school when I was little 😳. Is my phone stalking me. I don’t know if it’s the same one, but the school was called orchard elementary
Just wondering but isn't it recommended that laymen not check for pulse, as the time needed to actually find a palpable pulse is time not actually administering compressions?
Mason Hatfield no check for breathing (chest rising and falling, breath sounds and feeling the breath)
I learned cpr recently
I'm a 11 year old and me and my brother like to play doctor
I'm 11 and I did CPR
U did cpr
