Mr.Cobb came in a year after I graduated, but through the kids he taught, I've received his love, his knowledge and wisdom, and well as the emotion he puts into showing the next generation love.
This is what is good about the internet. Seems like a super genuine teacher. I've had alot that could care less about the students they came across this one is the exact opposite. I would have prolly really enjoyed school with teachers like this. Amazing job Mr Cobb. Keep up the good work and inspiring these young lives. Need more like you. And what your doing is the best way for that to happen. No way they wouldn't want to be like you.
Wow…I moved here to Texas 3 months ago, and I never heard about what Mr. Cobb went through last year. What he did to honor his students and reach out to their families was absolutely heartwarming. I have a whole new level of respect for him. I have him in my Government class this year, and I can say that he’s an amazing teacher. He’s a very fun guy, but he’s also extremely nice and understanding. He’s honestly just a great guy to be around in general. I’m so happy to see him being recognized for all he’s done.

@@OfficialDUDEbenice he is retiring this year after 41 years of service to his community and there’s isn’t a household in Floyd County Indiana that hasn’t been touched in some way by this man. I’d say only thing that has come first is family but honestly I think he considers the whole community his family. Done more for our department in 8 years than has been done in the other 192 years in its existence and fights for those who can’t fight for themselves regularly. And secretly I think he will miss the job as much as we will miss him

This is what I thought it would be like when I bec a me a teacher three years ago. The kids were awesome like these kids, very loving, fun, excited about learning, and willing to give you their all, but it was the other adults and their behavior that I couldn't stomach. Luckily, I don't have to. I just miss the kids a whole lot. It's nice not having to put up with the hypocrisy and lies. Wish there was a way to do both.

Your being bears witness to His existence that we have a Creator. Trust in Him while you still have time. Unlike God, your worldly existence is finite. There is salvation in NO other name and the gift is free, it has been paid for.
Well here I am trying to reconnect to the Lord to be a better person. And this pops up. So amazing how people are kind. Being kind is important, but it's Important to be Kind!
