You totally lose track of the time signature when he busts into the solo! I’ve tried to follow the “math” on his solos and it’s just freaky good! I do shit like that too but nothing like Chris pulls off!!!
Also Benny greb, Jost nickel, Federico Paulovich. But I’m a Tama guy and love tama’s roster but Sonor has some top guys for sure! Dw does too but not a fan of dw’s sound compared to Tama and sonor.

Chris you are the drummer that i would like to be your rhythmic development is what i come ti understand naturale, you have rhythmic ideas that he has in my opininion are unique but that come very close to my rhythmic concpntion , the only problema is that you with your technical ability can play perfectly what you think ,instead i have technical problem since i haven't played for several years, now i'm 59 and i don't know if will ever be able to satisfy these rhythmic ideas , towards me ,i really dream of Being able to play as you play ,if it were not so , because i found my drummer of the heart ,you give me great satisfaction in hearing you play ,i admire you very much , thanks Chris if you want to answer me so you will give me encouragement, i salute you ,Daniele from Italy.
