I'm 55, only played half a dozen bars on a drum kit in my lifetime, just signed up to Drumeo and ordered a Yamaha e-drum set because of this guy, I have no hope of ever reaching his level but that doesn't matter :)

The bass part alone seemed to be a total burn and is the first time I've seen him driving through the pain, all the while he's crushing the song with his upper body. He is amazing. At the end he says something like, "I can't see a thing." I believe it! Damn!
That's right, the pressure puts on at the end of the song makes him sweat hard and the sweat gets into his eyes.
This is the first time in a while you can tell he's feeling the burn of playing a song. My legs burned just watching him and you can tell when he was done he was happy to A: nail it! And B: let his legs rest.
Fuuuun. Just pure fun! The reaction, the playing, the song, the explanations,etc.
Definitely the G.O.A.T.!
He’s so amazing.
He can play 4 different rhythms at once.
And he doesn’t have 4-5 base drums and 4 floor Tom toms like many out there.

Watching him play is seriously like no other. He’s so relaxed and yet totally nails every note. He sweeps the set like it’s fluid.. Mesmerising.

I think he's number one in the world, he can play anything! All of it!! And with one hand too if he wants. Maybe other drummers are better in some areas but he''s the best. Nice reaction video man :D

It's a "gallop", and is something that Muse does. El ES does a short where he shows it on its own. Very very hard to pull off, because the hat is 'off beat'. At first it sounds like it's out of time but it totally is in time which is hard.

I used to play the drums a while back which motivated me to learn the bass. My favorite past-time.
I Loved playing them so much and also switching back and forth as I practiced.
Unfortunately, the onset of arthritis is here and now I can't play either. So I play through watching these videos.

I have been playing since the 80s. I can play like that provided:
1 I tune my drums overly tight to have the extra bounce (plus add the snare weights)
2 I care to actually do this.
I don’t have to play drums for a living so I don’t need to keep producing content to make money.
I’m much more impressed by Caleb H the now I believe 8 year old nailing world class drummers
