Thank you for the new recipes. I forage for wild greens every morning and look for new ways to use them. And I think the cleaver water worked for you. You're very beautiful in my eyes. 😏

Brilliant video Fern! Love how you pick the Nettles bare handed which is my preferred method as well. Looks like there was a bunch of possibly Arum italicum or some other Aroid plant in that Nettle patch? Such a great presentation on the soul garnish too! Sooo grateful for you! Cheers and respect, marc 💚🙏🏽🍃

Also had not thought how flower flavor may change depending on the sun! You packed a lot of great info into that video and it took an extra second to assimilate that tip too... Very inspired by you! 🙌🏽

Love the tip about freezing nettles. I think I will def. do this and use instead of pakchoi in my stir fries throughout the year. I've only started getting into foraging properly in the past month and I must say it has transformed my appreciation and connection to nature. It's not just about what you can eat but about reading the environment as you walk through it. Also, love the foraging basket btw.

Excellent content! I love a wee bit crumbled Wensleydale cheese on my nettle soup. 🤤
Please take the following as genuine constructive criticism from someone who admires your level of knowledge and loves what you share. Try to look at the camera lense and not the display. It's a common "mistake" or thing people don't realise they're doing when filming. It really helps making you look like your talking directly with the audience. Loved the video and that basket! That's a beautiful basket. 🌿🍄👍

Ohh thank you so much!! 🥰🌸 Honestly I am SO here for creative criticism right now - I’m totally in the learning phase when it comes to long form video and I think it does make more of a difference when filming in landscape! 💚

Yay! Lovely video, so calming to watch and really inspires me to go out foraging! How would you use dried cleavers? In the same way as nettles? Also you mentioned a cleaver tonic, is that as simple as adding to water or would you need to cook the cleavers? Also love your basket bag!! Can’t wait to see more long videos from you on here 🥰

Oh, so the sticky plant is called cleavers. I didn't know the name. I pulled 3 bin bags of cleavers out of my garden last week and threw them in the compost bin.

I find them extremely annoying by neighboring plants they crawl over everything! They just lose their stickiness when cooked?

I've just come across your video.
I have done a one day course on foraging, too scared to go out on my own, my questions are:
Do you clean the nettles and cleavers before cooking?
Is there a certain amount of what you forage and cook that could be eaten too often?.
How do you know what you forage could interact with medication.
    Many thanks x

Are spring nettle tops better than summer nettles, have I missed my window to dry them and save for autumn and winter tea? Thanks kaye

When you blend herbs you oxidize them and make ‘em useless… kinda like dandelion root tea in the store.. might as well make it yourself because they blend to the point where it’s just an aroma and no medicinal affects
