Now we just need Steve to build an engine for the cub...
Is the video in 360p for everyone or is it just me. * edit for the try hards * I was just too damn quick to click on the notification. Relax lol
@@skeet2face09 me to what’s wrong with the video cleet
He’ll ya brother
@@skeet2face09 Takes a bit for the high def streaming to get setup. That's assuming he didn't upload and leave it hidden for a while first.
Other than the color, the Carbon Cub is perfect just the way she is fella!
The look on Steve's face when jackstand takes the throttle from him 😂
I was just about to point that out 😂
That's the dad saying hold the the flash light right look.
Stared a hole right through the side of his head lol
"This motherfu--"
😂
13:29 that is the FIRST time I've ever seen someone catch Cleet off guard with a rev. He's usually the one doing it to everyone else. LOL
That was so funny
I love how Steve is never not confident but in the most funny and not cocky way. 😂
He'll yeah you need to disappear brother he doesn't care 😢
Steve is confident in his product, mans a genius in this department.
Just another day in building performance engines. When you've seen it all, nothing a surprise.
The way Steve looks at James at the end there. When James hit the throttle a bit on the killer bee. It was like, you best not hurt this one! Lol
lol yeah that was a "woah there son"
@Big duphus AJ Also think about the engine in kiila b that he blew up. That engine didn't just blow up for no reason. I'm willing to bet James didn't do his due diligence on taking care and maintaining that engine properly. Take notice how meticulous the AUSSIES are by constantly looking there engines over and reading data logs. Sorry but I think some give James way too much props on thinking he's the best mechanic in the world.
Props to Zach for being so mechanically observant and knowing when something just doesn’t look right.
Totally agree ,great eye Zach.
there's no such thing as being mechanically observant. he´s mechanically inclined and observant
@@StanleyKubick1I bet you’re a blast at parties.
@@flatbedtaco 😂😂
@@StanleyKubick1so your saying there is a such thing?
I Can’t thank Cleetus, his crew and the guys from killer performance enough for building such a ripper 🤘🏼The Tahoe is staying in Florida!
Congrats!
Congrats
hell yah brother, congrats!
Im late. When was the drawing?
Congrats!
Steve is such a good dude. You won't find another guy of his caliber in this industry. He's definitely going to be "Ride or Die" for you Cleet. Take care of that guy.
Neither need eachother. But working together just makes the content better
Neither needs the others brother, but kids be content and that's better.
Yes, what you said Erik.
I love Sam! He's someone everyone needs in their lives.
Caught a glimpse of him in a trance stare when they got her to idle, couldn’t help but laugh good old Sam
It never ceases to amaze me just how much effort Sam puts forth.
The man don't stop putting in work.
Yeah, thats how 90% of Americans used to be and didn't ship in foreigners to do the jobs others didn't
@@michaelatkin9649 agree, and not to be confused with the foreigners of the industrial revolution which had totally different mind set on why they were coming here compared to today.
As soon as you stop putting in the work, that's when you die. Them old timers know just keeping going to the very end. That was a generation that built this country.. and it breaks my heart to have to see them loosing what we once had.
Even after retiring
@@tomcoon9038 Well, he taught machining at college, he was a NASCAR crew chief and spent 30 years building drag engines so yeah, he knows stuff.
Glad to see you guys co-parenting this SMX so well! Gotta stick to those custody agreements
It is a true testament to the kind of guy Cleetus is when he is able to surround himself with so many great people and be very genuine toward all.
Steve is the absolute chillest humble guy there is. What a legend.
Humble? Dude is so far up on his high horse he's in the clouds! lol
@@ArthurSperottoThere's good reason why people pay 75k-100k+ for his engines.
Gotta love that warranty service 😅
Steve morris is literally the master of his trade, what an awesome collab for the macfarland team
The customer service steve provides with these engines is incredible, can't imagine many other engine builders doing this
To be fair when your engine is 100k plus, I think you'd expect a pretty personal level of customer service, I believe the package for Mullets original engine is about 70k, that wasn't even an SMX.
Now not saying Cleetus doesn't get special attention because I'm sure he does but I imagine anybody who is building these kind of engines at these kind of prices, there is an expectation of a certain amount of support from up top.
@@MrJaiimez you've got a point there I suppose 😂
Love how invested Sam is into Steve’s explanation haha, living the dream
Steve, Brent and Kevin are literally my fav old heads on youtube these guys are so passionate, caring, and nice human beings.
Kevin is the dad in the group that knows how to fix or build it all and usually isnt stumped
Cream of the Crop❤
I love Sam he’s such a great add to the channel he’s always so positive ❤
Steve's definitely the type of engine builder you keep in your speed-dial. Dude's a freakin' legend for zippin' out to look at your engine. :)
Looks like Steve was about to throw hands with James when he grabbed the throttle 😂😂😂
I love seeing Sam right in the middle of almost all these videos. Sam is such a great addition to the content. Hell yeah brother!!!
Ole Jackstand has more fans than he might think. Wasn't surprised to see Doug wearing his shirt. Your the man Jimmy!!
I always say it, i’ll say it again, george is the best hype man. and his voice cheering behind the camera makes everything 1000x better. So glad he joined the cleetus crew.
@@fast97z24 nah ,not really .. what's real cringe is liking your own comment
Steve is the man! So glad you guys are partnered up with him in a way.
You know Steve is gonna make sure Cleetus is taken care of…. Once he “partnered” with Cleetus all eyes are on Steve. He builds some incredible engines! He makes engine do things others said couldn’t be done or said the engine couldn’t survive.
Yeah you bet he's well aware of the insane marketing that this whole venture with Cleet has gained him, those trips are worth it ten times over
Meh, i dont think so. His engines have a reputation in racing and a break on one isnt gonna change it since anything can and does pushing them to the limits
He kinda does this for everyone - you should check the price tag on his engines, this is an "included perk" lmao
@@michaelatkin9649 His engines don't have a good reputation in the racing community recently though. (Not hard to find proof and stories on FB from reputable people who have kept quiet for ages)
I think Steve is fully aware, that's part of the reason why big dog's down there in florida pulling bearings with his own fingers. "Just makin sure"
Even though it's the "scratch n dent special" he knows how many eyes are on it and he wants to make a good impression. He wants this engine to do impressive things for Cleetus, not just sell him a longblock and say "good luck"
15:15 Steve morris looked like he was about to deck the shit out James 😂😂😂
I can’t explain the calm I feel when Steve is looking at an engine.
Always so much knowledge dropped on these teardowns with Steve. The University of Full Send!
It’s like a master class in things that major engine manufacturers never bother considering, because their block will never even sniff 1000 horsepower, let alone 5000
Cleetus consistently finding ways to spill his AG1 before he has to drink it and sell it to you.
Probably because it doesn't taste that good 😅
Right every drop he spills is a drop he doesn’t have to force down
Its actually not bad and im a finicky person when it comes to taste. Its fruity tasting. The only negative i can give it is that it does have that artificial sweetener taste and its a tiny bit grainy. For a green veggie drink which are normally disgusting its top notch. U wont find any other type of drink like that making it past my lips. Its definitely not something u are excited about having but u dont dread it either. U just get it done
@@GonzoDonzo I actually looked it up because I thought it was interesting. But I'm not shelling out almost $100 a month for it.
@@RYTHMICRIOT i got it as a gift. Had no idea it was that expensive and i can say id never pay that for the product. Id much rather make a smoothie with fresh fruit and veggies for that cost
Steve Morris is clearly showing his value. Cleetus paid a lot for that motor. And Steve is standing behind it. This is a clear example of "you get what you pay for" coming through in the best way possible.
Sam is freaking awesome! Respect. You have to love when someone of his experience is so eager and willing to learn. Good on ya mate!

It's risky working with a high profile person like Cleetis... if it goes BOOM, millions will know. We Love You STEVE....
Every engine Cleet has ever had he blows up! Lol
It brings more customers than haters even if it goes boom. Theyre race cars and most know youre pushing the engines intended geometry design every 1/4 pass
It makes 5000hp, it can go boom anytime at that level….. nobody would blame Steve that’s knowledgeable, it’s only so much you can account for when engineering this stuff
@@onedayiwillmakesomecontent Most people pushing engines at or near the limit of what's possible blow them up. Nitro motors detonate on the regular.... shit happens.
@@Call_MeDaddy yes sir!! That kind of power simple as overlooked air, fuel being off a bit means goodbye!!! All has to be on point.
A real W from that filter! With so much crud coming out that pump, the fact none of it got to the engine is a great result. 😅
Steve seems like a dude with real integrity that stands behind his product and protects his name and reputation. Pretty awesome.
Man , how lucky are you guys to be able to get Steve in the shop. What a knowledgeable man to know!!
It's so cool that Steve breaks down tolerances because that's something everyone doesn't talk about the play on the drive train.. such a legend! Keep it cool player!

Great work all around everyone is erngauged, checking and rechecking every little thing. Thanks for sharing.
Steve is a mad man when it comes to working on freedom
Steve knows his stuff and is able to work with the guys when things go wrong. When you are pushing the limits expect the unexpected. Great teamwork is the best you can expect.
I remember the video from years ago where Cleetus got a ride in a 5 second camaro that had a SMX engine in it, now he has one of his own and the actual builder of the engine helping him service it.
nice to se steve SM comming by to look at the motor and sheck that everything is fine, he clearly stand by his products and is not affraid to assure his engines actually do perform as intended.
What a great team of people you have around you Cleetus.
They are the greatest asset to a terrific channel.
Steve is one of the best engine builders there is in the entire world, and the way he personally comes and helps take care, and do maintenance on his old engines speaks volumes about this man! Steve Morris for President……gets my vote everyday of the week and twice on Sunday!
I love it when I have to skip 2 ads for the video to start and then when it starts, it's already a couple seconds into the sponsor part of the video. Saves me a couple clicks when I fast forward
Excellent video guys......always nice when you can have a specialist dissect and operate.....thats how you learn !!....thanks for sharing this with us

It's always amazing how Steve analyzes the smallest hints and gets down to the bottom of the real cause. He really has a sixth sense for engine problem diagnosis... 🤟
Ole sam is a working dude. He works to make it right while the bolts are being torqued.. It's such an awesome generation! It's good to see Steve come in and help save Mullet. That's rare in this day and age, the owner supporting the customer... Old Cleeter proves you should never be the smartest in the room because if you are, you are in the wrong room! Yep, I had the same exact issue. Got my new setup done with the dry sump, started making noise, figured it out, it didn’t stop. Well what started causing the noise ended up going through the pump and ruining that, back to Moroso it had to go. Not cheap for new cases and rotor for those things, luckily I only have a couple stages. My problem was the Inside of my AN suction lines from pan to pump were collapsing inside without and sign outside, might be worth it to check the inside of your suction lines and make sure they aren’t collapsing. Still to this day one of the weirdest things I’ve ever seen, both stainless braided -12an lines looked like a capital M inside and couldn’t feel anything from out.
Cleetus always looks high while Steve always looks tweaked out like he’s starting through you. Good balance.
