The robot battlers are probably my favorite from this whole mainline toyline because they just have the perfect amount of play value. Because not only do they do a "Rock Em Sock Em Robots", but they ALSO transform! It's like having your one step changers and... eating... them... too...? Shut up-
Transformers One was so fricken good, might be my favorite Transformers movie now, like I grew up with the 86 movie, I love it. But TF1 was just so refreshing, there was so much lore packed into it.
Hasbro is definitely leaning into the budget end and gimmick fueled products for this movie. And that’s fine. Still excited for the movie! Not watching any reviews. The wife and I are planning a date for this one!
Wouldn't that just be the "Stealth Force" line from ROTF/HFTD/DOTM? While I don't disagree with you, I'd much rather have the characters/vehicles from M.A.S.K. have their own, fully realized robot forms, as well as the OG gimmick. The drivers/pilots could even be Mini-Cons or some kind of "-Master" included in the box.🤷♂

I am a G-Oner through & through. For my Bday yesterday, Premiere my wife bought me G-1 Megatron & my Mom bought me YoloPark Megatron AMK Pro. Went in with an open mind, & know that this was a total reboot. “They” gave the bots a selfie-filter face & Marvel-ized the movie. All in all, i loved it. It only took 17yrs for the same producers to realize & learn to make a good TF movie.
I was definitely excited to see my favorite Transformers UA-camr revealing my favorite character when you unveiled Bumblebee. You certainly have a way of capturing the fun of these toys. You've absolutely sold me on Studio Series Megatron, and those Power Battler things look fun as well.

I advise everyone give them a listen. Think I still have the single of that Carmen Queasy song Skin did with Maxim from Prodigy somewhere.
I have to say, I LOVE the Prime Changer figures! They've got sparkly plastic, they're about Deluxe-ish size, and they're fun to transform. Not super simple but not overly complicated either.
Love Skunk Anansie! Charlie Big Potato is such a great song along with Hedonism, Secretly and Squander are my faves. Love the search and destroy cover from Sucker Punch as well
The toys I'd agree, I think the only one I've taken interest in was Alpha Trion? But my goodness the movie was fantastic imo, and I'm very picky about the Transformers media I like (I stand by G1, Armada and Animated, everything else is a hard sell to me)

Last Saturday I was fortunate enough to take my mother and brother to the early screening event and I must say, this movie was way better than anything that came out before it And you bet your ass I'm getting the Studio series deluxes
I find it amusing that todays mainline Hasbro toys are only a short hair better than knockoffs you would've smashed with a cinderblock a few years ago. Even the "nice" ones are so hollow that there's an entire secondary market based around filling the voids and otherwise correcting Hasbro's corner cutting practices.
Did anyone else see they low key reissued the power of the primes optimus prime at US Targets with all the new TF1 merch? I saw them and It's size and quality made all the TF1 figures look very cheap and small.
I'm wondering if we'll get a Studio Series Airachnid from One before a Prime Arachnid from Generations. The Shard mold seems perfect for being retooled into Generations Prime Airachnid.
Havent seen the film yet. I wish they would have paid a better nod to g1 and made megs a gun again. Armada was the only time the tank alt was really interesting to me.

This was very entertaining, and hey it let us collectors know what the mass market toys do. Since they don't bother with those on Hasbro pulse. I have seen other people get this box and they just checklisted everything and ended the video probably because their giving it away in a livestream or something. But I love that Thew dug in there and gave the toys a go. Keep our old Transformation Cogs moving.
