Annette Funicello & Frankie Avalon on Vicki Lawrence 1992

- Annette & Frankie's segment from the first episode of the Vicki Lawrence show. It was here that Frankie revealed to Annette that her husband Glen told him of her secret battle with MS years ago. This was surprising news for Annette. She writes about this broadcast in her autobiography. Originally aired September 1, 1992.
ANNETTE was so classy on so many levels - it's my understanding that she honestly did not know that Frankie was already aware of her condition and she felt just a little betrayed by that fact ~ but she certainly held her composure. God bless her, she was my first secret crush, such a lovely person. The precious memories she gave to all of us shall indeed live on.

It is very nice that Frankie Avalon still treats Annette Funicello very well and even with Glen Holt, Annette's second husband, the three of them were friends.
From 0:00 to 14:45 is an interview of Frankie Avalon and Annette Funicello.
Rest In Peace, Annette Funicello.
You will be missed but never forgotten by your Mickey Mouse Club fans very much.

Amen! Think positive at all times. That is one of the greatest virtues.
Why oh why did I come across this video at this moment? It's Good Friday 4/15/2022 almost 12 midnight. With smilies and tears on my face. Frankie has been my forever heartthrob ❤️ since my teens (that was long, long ago) and as for Annette one of my favorite female singers and actress. She's gone but never forgotten... Frankie was at Busch Garden a few years ago, of course I went 4 days in a row to see him.😍
Oh my goodness, Fabian (Like A Tiger) and Ed Byrnes (Kookie, Kookie Lend Me Your Comb)
Reliving my teenage years. Siiiiigh
Yes, what a classy woman, who, with Glen, dealt with such a devastating disease with grace and courage 🧡🧡
Fabulous interview!
Great interview! Thanks for sharing! Two class acts....
Waltz fell in love with her the world fell in love to she back then she is extremly amazeing beautiful♥️i miss you R I P 💋
I remember Annette funicello but I like I remember the Mickey mouse club that used to be on TV that was my favorite show when they sing the songs I miss that show
According to the movie A Wish Is A Dream Your Heart Makes based on her book it showed they met on American Bandstand where they both performed.....
I´ve seen a lot of interviews of Annette and I am mad that in all of them the interviewers are the ones that talk the most!!!!! Poor Annette was let to say very few words cause these people believed it was all about themselves and people longed to listen to HER > : [
If these interviews were in the 90s...most likely it was because she had trouble with talking because her MS had progressed alot by then
Gorgeous couple ,❤❤
I miss her
Loved this woman-so cool she dated Frankie...
Within 10 yrs she could not walk or speak and died at 59.
I hope Annette was a Christian And new Jesus so when I go to be with my Lord I can see her singing in Heaven
shawn ryan yes! In fact, she was Roman Catholic! Same as me :D she said in interviews she was very religious and went to church regularly.
Regardless of what, religion she was, she was an angel both in life and death.
Melissa Guerra he just hopin she was saved😇🤞☺️😉
Annette looks like Jackie Onassis.
