I just knocked out my first sophia course yesterday, macroeconomics. Doing principals of finance and maybe intro to IT today. Time to grind it out and get that degree.
Started Macroeconomics last night. Read it was easier than Microeconomics. I just needed one or the other. Anything to add while I get through this? Spent an hour on it so far and did up to the Unit 1 Exam. Will spend more time on it tomorrow to finish it.

Make sure the classes you are taking are accepted by the college you want to transfer it to. Ask that college to make sure the Sophia classes will transfer.
I wish I had paid more attention to your video before starting with Sophia. I am taking a Business Communication course which includes four units and 4 assignments, including a video presentation. I felt miserable while working on it. However, I started college algebra and I'm loving it. I'll be able to finish it in a few hours. Hi Raquel, it's going to be an adjustment going back to school after so long but it's doable.. I recommend getting in the habit of reading that helped me to develop a longer attention span and a higher tolerance for boredom lol... If you feel doing a course prior to starting will help you, then do that... But with determination and discipline you will be able to do it!
I’m 31 also. Been in college (online) for almost a year and I have a 4.0 gpa. I don’t say that to brag. I dropped out of school in 10th grade. I wasn’t smart and I struggled. Online schools make it almost impossible to fail. If I can do it, You CAN DO IT! The hardest part is starting. So do it!

It varies, ive experience both quick turn around like 2 days and others that took 1 week.. the key is to do 1 with assignment , and 1 without.. so that way if you have to wait you can finish the other course and add a new one

Im not sure if Sophia has any computer science courses that matches up with UoPeople. However you can complete all your electives with Sophia .. Probably 50% of your courses are electives so if you do them.on Sophia then you would save 2 years
There were videos and reading materials. So you can choose whichever works for you.. personally, reading material was easier to run through for some courses and videos were better for courses like algebra & statistics

I was a Business admin student, all the courses I mentioned were all accepted by UoPeople. I transferred like 20 courses though. Any course can go towards your elective. But your major courses need to have a similar name as what you see on UoPeople.

Yeah. I spent about 18 hrs altogether to complete the College Algebra course. Completed with a 98%, which shocked me.

You can only do 2 courses as at time, so once one is done then you can add another.
Does wgu college of health professionals accept credit from Sophia too?
I have see youtube videos with person from WGU transferring credits from Sophia, so I believe so.. Perhaps you can reach out to the school to confirm.
