A couple of corrections: 1. I said power required goes up with the square of velocity, but that's wrong. The wind resistance force goes up with the square of the velocity, but the power required goes up as the cube of velocity. 2. There are three levels of charging: Level 1 is plugging into a regular wall socket, affectionately known as granny charging. The car converts the AC to DC power to charge the battery. Level 2 in the states is using a 240V outlet that can put out something like 40 or 50 amps. Again, the car converts the AC to DC power. Level 3 is using direct current fast charging. Fast chargers in the States generally deliver a current of 50, 150, or 350 kW (not volts). The delivered voltage varies.
thank you for the clarifications! once again thank you Professor Cook for being a part of this new experience! we hope to have you back on the show! Looks like people dig the car as well! 😎👌
Polestar ( owned by Geely ) should pay Ray and you for all the cars that this video just sold. You should check out the EVs made by Geely, BYD, NIO, Xpeng and Li Auto. That will get you started sir.

Looks like a fun time was had by all! My Polestar 2 was the star (pun intended) of my local Drive Electric event in Dania Beach, FL last weekend, too.
I like that black bmw i3! Looked pretty awesome! ☺️
Can't go wrong with the black! We were surprised by how tiny those i3s are in person! Such a unique EV
Excellent review!!!
