I was off of your content for a while, and I don't even know whether you make it a lot for the past 2-3 years, but I kind of understand everything you're saying. I think I'm moving in the same direction. I need to have a little more of proactive energy and put myself out, own the room. I can be way more chill and passive if I want to, but sometimes doesn't really get me anywhere. I understand energetically where you're coming from and I appreciate it.
You have a very juicy voice that pierces through the ears, massaging the brain and sits at the core of what it means to be a dominant and a humble male.

Something I find really interesting about this community, is that I feel that a lot of pick-up artists are these hurt souls, who still to some extent are still the same way, but have built or developed muscles to be stronger, which then have created some really interesting individuals, like you and Julian, I definitely sensed some vulnerability in Julien when I met him, and if you ask me ( some unresolved traumas underneath), perhaps going out may not directly fix it, but it does add a lot of charisma to their souls, that I admire. I'd say all of the great ones in this particular industry, seem to have some burden or heaviness, Owen, Julien, Mystery, but managed to overcome it, and this is going to sound really weird but whenever you speak Owen, I've always been able to pick it up and almost transmit that to my own life, or at least the thoughts stay with me for some reason. And also this might be funny, but a lot of autistic people can be great speakers, but at the same time bad socially, Hitler is a good example, incredibly autistic if you ask me, he did hold captivating speeches, yet disgusting, but when he was at dinner parties he was a big clumsy mess, who would rather do monologues that actually socializing, that's also where I am a bit, despite not having such demented ideas.
I don't know if it sounded like shittalk didn't mean that way the very least haha.
Want to know my greatest trauma? Learning all this has exposed darker truths about human nature that I have at times found so disgusting and disappointing, I've had to dig incredibly deep to find forgiveness both for others and also for myself. As far as my own life, I am truly complete and happy. But it's what I've uncovered on the path to getting to this point that has taken me time to internally resolve. It raises issues like "Do I spend my life trying to educate people on this and fix things?" But you have to come to terms with your own limitations, while not getting jaded and still trying to contribute. And btw, NO platitude can solve for this. Just started watching, and I already have something to comment here haha. I think you gain energy because you're at the cause of the survival of the group. It's like your own survival instinct which wakes you up, but in this case it's the survival instinct for the group, for generations. Consequence is that you're giving to that cause (helping the group), so you have the purest form of drive.
At the end it boils down to an old lesson of Owen, which is to be at the cause, not at the effect.

I really need to hop on a class sometime, I feel SO close to like a mental breakthrough, like I'm really just okay with being like conversational in general, like being loud or being quiet or like feeling in control of your emotional energy, but I feel like i get what Owen has said a couple times, about this like eye thing, like a mental buzzing like in the back of my eyes, like I'm all there, but I don't know how to explain it, best I can assume is like it's almost like my sense ego is acting up if that makes sense, idk it feels like so douchey self aware-look-at-me-go kinda mental though buzzing away, idk if that even makes sense but how do you explain thought concepts anyway 🤷♂️🤷♂️🤷♂️

hey. I commented earlier about the quitting life and meditating till I'm dead stuff. thx for your reply! Is there anything I can do or that you can suggest, or tell me, to eradicate this desire from within myself? I rationally know to do better than just sitting in a cave and die before I die, and I should focus on building a future for my future family, but this desire isn't strong enough (worth it enough). I'm a 24 y/o guy btw. Also, all this is cuz of mental illness (StPD) and the irresponsible use of psychedelics, which I've quit but still have left me with this kind of "EGO DEATH" resulting in these weird desires.
Look up the "Endless Motivation" series of videos on this channel, and I'm sorry you had that experience, you're going to have to retrain your brain manually to perceive reality correctly, as I did from light autism -Owen

Awsome video! I am working at a psychiatric clinic (medstudent) right now, and i can see that the energetic flow from the staff is “transferring” to the patients. If there is a conflict within the work group, all the patients get worse. It is also a struggle to guard my energetic field surrounded by really mentally sick patients.
Been a hardcore fan since 2009. Looking forward to come to an event, but money is low as a student. Going to work extra this summer, and saving.

I deeply felt her pain and started crying when she mentioned her breakup… feeling others perceived emotions is common for me and I appreciate this, but how can I protect myself and not internalize them? Specifically with others anger, it cuts me so deep and I feel physically sick. As a child I dealt with some severe stomach issues, my parents said my face would loose all color and id look almost dead when eating. I would love to heal this deep wound somehow.
Bro look at my leg injury on the other channel, I may never walk again. I literally have not even been 1% upset the entire time. The reason is that life is so incredibly short, it just blows by in a half dream. Nothing really matters but the person you become in the process, treating people well, and having a bit of fun. looked like you didn't really know what to say about addressing the emotional side of things and just felt like you were self indulgently rattling on about your own life for ages and giving vague references to relationships and heartbreak, while not relating to what she was saying, cutting her off and not giving her space to speak most of the time. So i was like whats the point of being up there.
The getting out of the mind and into the body more and stop making it about you is good advice but too vague to actually be practically applicable in a way that is consistently useful. And it doesn't include the emotional side at all. It sort of dodges around it.
Also I understand this is short seminar clip so i might have got the wrong impression based off this and i know you like to joke around a lot so maybe I'm being too narrow minded about it.
I just think he was not taking it so serious purpose, I mean it affects the whole seminar energy when he goes into that mode.

I think you have a point here Laklo. I think it also has to do with a powerbalance here. She isn't in a place to speak through Owen's talking. But overall it looked like she couldn't really fully explain herself and that got caught in her way.
If it would be Elon Musk, Owen is talking to on stage, I feel like Owen would give way more attention and space for him to elaborate his feelings and emotions. With the girl it was mostly Owen rambling about his point of view and experience and it really lost her, got her caught up in her brain, of course that is something that she has to work on herself, but for everything is a place and time. And this interaction as it happened also effects the energy of the seminar. People and the audience pick up on this as well.
In my POV, I would say:
Owen, what do you think about this comment when you watch it back yourself and you see her reacting to you. Is she in a inspired state, or a prison state, where someone else dictates the rules. It's kinda contradicting to what you're saying overall during this talk. If you want to be at service (as you say is your love language) I would suggest to make her talk and explain in her fullest Owen. That way you express love. Julian can help you with this for sure, you both are an amazing team. He really demonstrates how to have a solution focused approach on this exact matter.
The best would be if she gives the answers herself, you already gave a lot of answers before as a matter of fact. This also inspires people in the audience, because they make up answers for themselves, and try to figure out if they truly get what you meant beforehand.
Tho I see that you are trying to make this point already of a solution-faced approach to life Owen by giving examples. I think you could work on the approach and delivery.
Nevertheless, you inspired me in this talk, but it made me cringe to watch her and you together. I just want to help you improve as well. As you do with me.
