Just finished watching the series McMillan & Wife. So amazing to see San Francisco in better times. Susan and Rock Hudson had great chemistry, wish her all the best.
I just love her on Mc Millan they are perfect together on that show. It takes place in the bay area but u can tell some scenes are film at Universal's lot.
Aside from always being such a lovely woman, whenever I see Ms Saint James being interviewed I think: man, what a terrific personality, she must be great to have around...be it as a casual acquaintance, friend, relative. But then, I think Jane Curtain shares some of that, too, great to be around. BTW, I love the way Ms Saint James takes control of the interview from Dave who I have always felt was a bit of a smug/self satisfied S.O.B.
Yeah she was probably one of the few women he actually respected because she made him respect her with her great personality , wit , and intelligence ... you could tell she was fearless and didn't care .

I just read that Kate and Allie was partially taped in studios created out of the Ed Sullivan Theater which is where Dave moved to when the switched networks.
I used to have a crush on her. She does pull it off being conservative vegetarian and yet able to sell , let’s say , wrestling. Make no doubt . She did no favours to Whitesnake. We are all hypocrites at some point , it’s just some of us are more fashionable. Nice Skirt mom !
