wooting still clears, thanks for watching
ASUS ROG Azoth 75 with magnetic switches will destroy Wooting and wooting knows it, which is why they're not hiring a ton of people, it's going to be their one hit wonder.
If you like a 60 keyboard then sure I don't and pretty much any streamer or anyone recording needs their F keys not to mention the high use of F keys in games like Call of Duty. A 75 is one row taller and one column wider, but it's fully functional. Hitting you fn + 1 + ALT and other three key combos in a fast paced FPS is a freaking PITI!!!
@@DJaquithFL destroy it seems a little exaggerated.. I'm not on the loop about this Asus kb but what breakthrough tech is it bringing to the table?
@@patkluivert4110 .. The ASUS has a built-in OLED screen with information that can tie into your computer's telemetry (CPU / GPU temperature, Load %, GPU Boost Clock, CPU Frequency, or you can have some dumbass animation. It has an aluminum top plate but the one thing I don't like about it is the bottom is made from plastic to allow for 2.4GHz/wireless connectivity .. I'd much prefer to see an all aluminum case with a little cut out hole for connectivity transmission.
Right now I'm using a MonsGeek M1 HE with the same technology but in a 75 format. The problem with any of these magnetic switches is calibration and the occasional stuck key from using crap like 'Rapid trigger.'
@@patkluivert4110 .. Also let me add, I'd much prefer to see a tactile feel in the otherwise linear magnetic switches. You can argue about that all day long not being needed, I'll argue right back to you that sound etc doesn't mean squat either. My error rate with a non-tactile linear switch is considerably higher and I don't like the feel. I have gaming boards that are linear. The difference in speed is being real nothing. The most important input on your PC? Sure the hell isn't your keyboard. It's your mouse!
Other competitors already caught up for cheap. So Wooting probably won't stay up there for long either.
Feels good to support a brand like wooting and also getting objectively the best ''gaming'' keyboard on the market.
I found gold!
wooting has bad quality for the price
2:40 caught me off-guard & cracked me up so hard, I had to go back to properly continue watching, that was a good, long laugh. Thanks for that
The only problem I have with wooting is availability.
It seems like either razor or steel series are more available than wooting in at least in my country
And even looking through online the wooting is mostly unavailable unless you're willing to ship it over with a god awful expensive shipping rates.
So yeah, nice to see it works but would like it to be available
The steel series software is so simple and easy to use, idk how he had a hard time operating it 🤣
I’m just letting you guys know from someone who has been in the keyboard hobby for over five years don’t even think about getting into it just buy a nice gaming keyboard and call it a day. It’s the most frustrating hobby you could ever endure.
do you have any idea if companies like ducky varmillo are looking to release rapid trigger wooting features aswell any time soon? their designs are top notch but I mostly game, so wooting atm is just better
@@FreddeLibre same
ong, i hate the community around keyboards as well
yes because changing parts on a fucking keyboard is deff more annoying then like swapping engines on a car or boreing out your quad/dirtbike etc, did you even think a little bit before making this stupid ass comment? i could name drop 1000 different hobbies that are far far more agititing. go spend 1000$ on a fancy rc plane to demolish it your first flight. then rethink your stupid ass words.
Since razer and steel series are both bigger brands then the wooting, I feel like it would be easier to get those keyboards compared to the wooting. my parents did get me a wooting for christmas and took 2-3 months to get here but was 100% worth the wait.
these keyboard prices are insane holy. i have a razer huntsman elite tkl and it was around 100$ at the time but now looking at these high end ones like 🤯
yeah it is like high end mice, they know 'gamers' will buy them no matter what so they keep raising the costs because we don't do anything about it.
The reason the wooting is so easy to take apart is because you're meant to put the pcb into a custom 60% keyboard case, use your own keycaps, switches,... and build your own custom gaming keyboard.
For the same money, faster shipping as well as a better layout, DrunkDeer a75 cant be beat either
There's no ISO layouts for the drunkdeers though...
@@innovance3788 ISO layout is without a doubt the worst layout for keyboards, ANSI is by and far better
.. What about recalibration? I looked at that keyboard but it's a PITI to get into and it really doesn't conform to a custom keyboard like AKKO, MonsGeek or soon Keychron w/VIA which IMO will be a game changer because of VIA.
My MonsGeek M1HE is okay but I've had a couple times where I've had stuck keys and I had to reset, The problem seems to occur when I have 'Rapid Trigger' enabled. However, one thing I run across all the time is I'm accidentally pushing on my 'S' while trying to move forward and my character does sits there like a dumb log. The only advantage that I've seen is I have fat fingers and I often hit the TAB (scoreboard) and Caps Lock (map) while playing Call of Duty and I can mitigate that with settings, but I can do it by remapping those keys as well. So it's a Pro and it's also a Con. Other than those examples, I've had a metric ton less issues with my mechanical keyboards. The last time I had a key stick on me was with an old Corsair K100 which was LED and before RGB. That's how long ago I've had a sticking key issue and then I became a beta tester to figure out where in the firmware there was a problem.
@@innovance3788 ISO sucks
@DJaquithFL Most keyboards that are HE don't really have calibration tools but they're still very accurate in general for what they do. You can change the sensitivity per key which is what a lot of people who own all these types of keyboards recommend. It took me a while to adjust because I tended to partially press keys I was waiting to actuate before actually actuation them and had to unlearn that really fast.
9:00 you can also do these things with apex pro tkl/full via the screen which can show a lot of other things too. And about the build quality, I agree and also think that the older tkl model or the full sized one build quality is better. (With the software update the mini is same as the tkl/full) The list was well formed btw. Good work
I feel like a lot of people forget one of Wooting's most option features is the analog input to be able to sort of mimic a controller joystick.. This is a game changer for rpg's where you need to ride horses or fly or drive cars.. Or even just casual racing games. I'd absolutey go steelseries but the one thing holding me back and making me consider the Wooting is that option.. Seems as though all these other companies are following suit in hall effect etc and rapid trigger but nobody else is implementing this which is rather annoying.
also being able to tamper with the amount of force you have to push on a key in order for it to register makes the 60HE an incredible keyboard minimizing latency
The huntsman v3 pro has this feature as well
@@2141mario yeah but isnt the rapid trigger and all that a fair bit worse than the others. I wish they did the HE switches and analog input on their new 75%
@@DelScully not the v3 pro you’re thinking of the older v2
@@2141mario ah good to know, I didnt realize they had a newer version. So its like a wooting then?
Lmaoo those steel series metal plates feel like an afterthought. F kit just throw some metal plates in there or something
there is plenty of custom cases that also do that. U want heavy keyboard so it doesnt move.
As a gamer I have no idea why a gaming keyboad would be missing the number pad... I use it so often
@@Chemike21 keyboard position for competitive gaming
@@trauma_ I now realize it depends on the game you play. I play with a ton of hotkey's
@@Chemike21 it's mostly for shooter games there are a lot of people including pro gamers playing nearly vertically, a long keyboard may be uncomfortable and touch ur chest
Here are some contenders to challenge the Wooting 60HE that you probably have not heard about
- DrunkDeer A75
- DrunkDeer G65
- Polar65
- Monsgeek M1 HE
Out of all of these options, the DrunkDeer is the most worthy contender because of:
- Smooth switches
- Cheaper price
- TKL/65% form factor
- Has a knob (TKL only)
- Similar HE implementation as the Wooting 60HE
- Also has a web driver, called "Antler"
- Recognised by pro gamers (primarily in the rhythm game osu!, but some FPS players like it as well) as a good keyboard
+1 to drunkdeer, pretty much perfect RT
Are you able to tamper with the sensitivity needed to register a key? If so I’ll probably get that over the 60HE
I bought the Wooting keyboard and keep hitting the wrong buttons at the wrong time in game. The keys are TOO sensitive on it. It got to be so frustrating that I'm completely done using it and am looking for a replacement.
but thats the concept of the wooting, most gamers use this keyboard BECAUSE of this ability, but i think you can change the sensivity in the wooting settings :)
I ordered the Deathadder because of you! I couldn't be happier.
i feel like razer feel themselves obliged to make louder at everything... louder keyboard clicks, louder mouse clicks
idk man is it so much to ask for something normal from them
DrunkDeer a75 and g65 beat both the huntsman v3 and apex pro in almost every single aspect including price (goes to 0.2mm actuation 0.1mm rt) so why's it not on here lol
I mean it's a bitch to open that's the only real downside
Check Polar 65, you're welcome (it was 105$ yesterday in sale, might wait for xmas)
@@standa-yt its hall effect on the level that drunkdeer/ss/razer are?
No@@yhiz4757
@@standa-yt bro this keyboard fucking slaps screw ins cnc alu although no gasket for 150 is sadge this looks great, I'll wait for benchmarks on performance tho. Bit late for me to switch, doubt I could sell my drunkdeer a75 for anything over £100 tbh and I'm putting together a custom soon so I'll use that for sound
apex pro mini got an update this is week and you can change the rapid triggers sensitivity
I have a wooting and all I can say is drunkdeer is the winner when it comes to the price. Razer can't compare I'm sorry. You should really review the Drunkdeer A75 or G65 to see why its a competitor in the rapid trigger market.
I have a Huntsman Mini, I hate Synapse, so I installed it and set up the keyboard how I wanted then saved the profile and uninstalled Synapse. The keyboard maintained the settings without having the software installed, so that's a big pro. I like the Wooting 60HE, but I am too impatient to wait for their sporadic drops when I can buy the Huntsman Mini in a store or get it overnight from Amazon.
Nahh 2:40 hello got me tripping 😂
nah fr
The DanTDM of peripherals! Love it!
Wait... is this your secret second life, Dan?
I love the Huntsman Mini v3 so far. Uninstalled synapse and just change everything on board. I honestly think this is a step up for Razer and is more available than Wooting. I think Razer could maybe do the double button. Bottom right cluster is now arrow keys press so we’ll see if that comes to rest. Wish there were actual reviews around. Glad you did one !!
Also got a Vaxee Outset AX B from your other review. Can’t wait for it.
And I agree GG is trash. Way too much crap in that software. I feel like synapse has come a long way from where it was but still has a way to go.
I mean if the wooting is unavailable the monsgeek m1he or the akko mod007b-he are just better choices. They sound and look way better than both the huntsman mini v3 and the wooting but has the same features as the wooting while being cheaper.
Hey I was looking at the v3 pro mini and I was wondering if the switches are wobbly and if the quality and feel of it is good otherwise I’ll go for apex
@@RefineMindset If you like the formfactor just get the wooting. Features and software-wise none of its competitors comes close to it. If not get something like the monsgeek m1he. Same features and price but unlike the huntsman and the apex, it's got that premium keyboard sound and aesthetics.
I've been using the Wooting 60HE and I can vouch for it being the best Keeb I've ever used.
Good quality, great customer support, they listen and read ALL of their users' feedback and look to implement it (hence the 80HE delayed release) and is overall a great keeboard, for both gaming and other tasks.
Don't be intimidated by the 60% layout. Wooting makes it super easy to add extra key functions on existing keys with just a profile switch (which you can do o the go for up to 4 profiles always saved and active on the board itself and being able to access them even on a PC without having their app)
All I could ask for in a review. Thanks man
I bought a Razer V3 and a Razer Viper mouse and I have no issues. I’m happy.
6:05 I'm in an office with thin walls.
It's a gaming keyboard, not an office one.
this channel is underrated af
Would love to have it if it was full white
i always forget how you arent a youtuber with millions of subscribers your production qual is awlays amazing
If only polar65 was available in the UK! For now I’ll stick with my SteelSeries mini since it’s so convenient to the buyer compared to Wooting waiting time. Again, Wooting is still the king.
My favorite is the Corsair K65 Pro Mini with OPX switches. I hope Corsair releases a tenkeyless or 65% version of their K70 Max in 2024.
12 mins but no in-game/in-use/performance comparison?!? 🧐🤔
Kinda dropping the ball when there's so few huntsman v3 - especially mini - reviews out yet
I love mine so far. Uninstalled synapse and just change the actuation and rapid trigger from on board memory. Turn them down when gaming and just turn the actuation up when just typing. Idk why but I love Razer keyboards and like that it is pretty much a wooting. I already have a custom from KBD fans. Just needed a straight gamer
Wow, there are a lot of good things on the market right now.
ATK 68, Drunk, Varmilo, Arbiter... there are many keyboards today that are better than Apex and Hustman... now regarding the wooting 60HE I don't know anymore, because I have the wooting and I know it's very good, and now I'm using it the ATK 68 from VXE and I say it's very similar!!!!
Since Wooting's design is simpler than the others it should be easier and less expensive to manufacture, but that's not what we see with Wooting. It is the most expensive of the three reviewed here.
And it’s actually the worst of the 3, I’ve owned all 3 and played with each of them and honestly the apex pro and huntsman have faster response times and a better feel than the wooting and are significantly cheaper and made stronger than the wooting
@@iimagine_slayz9656 I don't know if my keyboard is just an old one, but my razer keyboard does not feel high quality, razer has never been high quality. just a month ago I refunded my razer deathadder v3 because they couldn't fix the scroll wheel activating without me using it, the first time they sent it back they said it was firmware which it wasn't (I have also owned a viper ultimate with docking problems). Now I don't own the wooting 60he or any of their keyboards, but I like they're innovation and only needing to use the browser for customisation. I also have some experience with steelseries since I currently own the steelseries arctis nova pro wireless, and have owned the previous version. And their quality is better, same with software especially sonar, but I just don't see razer software anywhere near. You have to restart your pc when updating the software, its clunky and annoying to use and there aren't any good features
@@iimagine_slayz9656stop lying you dont have all 3
I have an original version Steelseries Apex Pro TKL, and I like having arrow keys and insert, delete, etc. I miss not having a numpad, so if I am going to get a 65% keyboard like Wooting's, I want there to be a reason like easily repairable or hot swappable. If steelseries makes the same size keyboard that is very much a pain to fix or take apart, what is the point? I'll just get a larger keyboard or a wooting instead.
Also for Steelseries keyboards you can adjust the Rapid Trigger mode actuation point now with a patch, which is nice. Even on the older Apex Pro TKL I have.
SS's software is terrible and crashes constantly for no reason whatsoever, I may upgrade to a Wooting 80HE since it has the arrow keys and seems perfect for my needs since it has all the steelseries apex pro features. The apex pro and TKL was great for 5 years ago, but we've made some strides since then which is nice.
Just the price is stupid high for all these keyboards, once you buy a keyboard it is kind of like, as long as it keeps working you don't really need to upgrade. I also got some Razer PBT keycaps for my steelseries keyboard and they feel a lot better to type with than the standard ones.
There are two relevant products today. Wooting for best performance and Azoth for best wireless.
Wooting is great ngl but I don't like 60% keyboards or full sized keyboards :( that why I bought the drunkdeer A75 is also really good
Still rocking my ducky mecha sf emerald. If I upgrade I’ll go to wooting
I didn't notice much change from wooting to apex but instantly could tell when typing on Razer, and it seems quieter to me.
Wooting by far. After I started using it I instantly bought another one just in case the one I use ever craps out for some reason simply because I don’t want to use another board for gaming
screwed down top case ruins all of these boards for me, if you want a Hall Effect board you may aswell just get the akko mod007 HB
You can adjust its sensitivity
Can u play cod warzone with these keyboards?
steel series have added the ability to change the sensitivity of the rapid trigger litterally yestday
I like my Razer Tartarus Pro keypad instead of fullsize keyboard. It received rapid trigger update this summer, it has some issues if rapid trigger is set to the most sensitive 0.1mm setting but on 0.4mm everything is perfect. Idk if high sensitivity on Wooting causes button being unpressed when you don't want it but even if it's harware issue this form factor alone is bigger point for me than 0.3mm difference in rapid trigger polishness.
why didn't you link the other keyboards?
I hope you're working on a sprime pm1 review, as a fellow g703 enjoyer I need more content on that mouse
i missed out on the first review batch. when it arrived i shall. but afaik it's also not an exact g703 shape as it's shorter so it might not be that great.
200€ for a keyboard is crazy.... are there ant similair switches like rapid trigger but budget friendly?
There's the drunk deer keyboards but i recommend getting ur money up and saving for a wooting
Drunkdeer G65 with the new update
wooting really needs a TKL version
Why does the MonsGeek M1 HE-SP never get a shout out
You guys cream over companies providing keycao pullers with keyboards but it’s somehow a problem when Steel series does it.
Off-topic but what's the screw driver you were using at 01:22? Thanks!
no idea, it's part of a cheap set that i got from amazon a few years ago
Need an oil prince to sponsor so he can test realforce gx1, zenaim keyboard, arbiter polar65, akko mod 007, Drunkdeer a75 and g65 and i think highground performance is its own thing?

UPDATE 1: Monsgeek m1, LAMZU, VGM LAB AND NINJUTSO JUST ANNOUNCED THEIR OWN!??!?, AND KEYCHRON Q1 HE IS ON KICKSTARTER?!?!
I had some rough experience with synapse with another keyboard from razer. Luckyly it was with a bought used huntsman mini, which was cheap enough to not being angry. If that happened with new stuff, for over 100-ish $, I would be mad af. It's the weakest point of there peripherals at this time. Steelseries software might not be the clearest one, but you dont need a tutorial to change a single thing in it. Wooting is the winner in this department.
I’m in the market for the keyboard equivalent of a Lamzu Thorn. You know, something that mops the floor with all the overhyped, underperforming and overpriced famous brands?
Wooting seems to be just what I’ve been looking for!
modding the razer slightly will make it tie with the wooting or even make it better than the wooting, i know that with razers optical switches modding a lot isnt possible but u can make the sound a lot better, and the input latency on the razer is the lowest. all the bugs with dual activation etc have been cleaned up with software updates also.
Does huntsman v3 have 2-in-1 keys that, depending on the press, perform one function or another, such as wooting or apex?
Yes
Waiting for my Wooting 60 Module
I have the 2023 tkl and im sorry but i rather have steelseries than razer. No issues with the software and it was super easy to set up rappid trigger. Besides, there are tests that shows that 2023 tkl are way better than razer
Personally I don't like those modded keyboards. They sound unnatural to me. I like the sound as is on my Ducky One 3 with MX Blues. I prefer clicky and my walls are thick enough not to annoy my neighbors.
Yo, I consider myself a monster keyboard user, since I have worn out so many boards over the years. My input is that I tried Saitek, Microsoft, Dell, Logitech and Roccat, out of these brands Roccat is the best longevity. I never tried steel series, Corsair or...Asus. Anyone can recommend a bomb proof keyboard ?.
Nice Keyboards but i´m still using HyperX Origin 60.
my apex pro mini completely just started pressings every key itself now wont even turn on I DONT RECOMMEND STEEL SERIES
Your problem no one else's
okay yeah sure but when we get a keyboard i rlly dont think the average human would say "Hmm let me try and rip this apart cs that basically determines how good the keyboard rlly is" nobody ever says that they js care ab the keyboards performance and its delay

i have two questions:
1. are you gonna review the ninjutso sora 4k like you mentioned in one of your videos?
i see you have as your "TOP MOUSE RECOMMENDATION" the deathadder v3 pro;
now let's say i have found the deathadder oh a discount or something idfk where it is in the same price range as most of your reviewed mice, plus the ninjutso sora 4k
2.1. do i go straight to the deathadder, or do i think about it, maybe other mice are worth it (my grip is weird but i'll say its claw)?
2.2. the hype behind the deathadder v3 pro was just strange, i mean don't get me wrong people said it is amazing, but people also pointed out the issues it has, it wasn't something mind blowing, it was kind of expected, what i'm trying to say is: "is the mouse casually in the top recommendation because it is just that much better and like levels ahead of everybody? or is it on the top recommendation because it is the classic that you can not go wrong with a.k.a there might be a better fit for you, but deathadder v3 isn't a bad choice?"

bro what? if your priority is the get the best gaming keyboard and not worry about any other stupid features like volume knob or screens or wireless, wooting is the best by far, especially with their analog switches. optimum tech already said the steel series is nothing compared to the rooting. the only other board that maybe compares is the drunkdeer a75
