it seems very similar to the hippo dance in Walt Disney's first Fantasia movie. i like the reference. i'm a big VFS and Disney fan. sorry not in that order tho lol
Before I even watched it, guessed Nutcracker, lol. Took the idea from Fantasia, didn't you? I totally see Ostrich vs hippo. Especially when maid dances alone at start. I would have made more distinction on the maid's sleeves when she is dancing in the spotlight, too close to her skin tone, blends right in.
yeah i agree. also i have no idea why they didn't bother giving her an actual unitard to wear instead of painting on her form. it made it blaringly apparent that there were no creases or wrinkles which i found distracting.
That was a good story line. I agree with Mishutka28, there's something missing from the animation in my opinion. Also, I wasn't a fan of the color choice for the heavier woman's unitard and tights. The pink and blue looked awkward, especially in the spot light scene. Other than that, it was great!
well, being fat is typically known as "out of shape," so the maid was out of shape and not able to dance as well as the skinny girl. fat/skinny discrimination is not like racist/sexist discrimination because you can actually do something about fat. People who are fat are usually just too lazy to work it off imho.
I cant see anything funny (at least not the way it makes me laugh, if then rather like strange) in this video. And there´s no rock in first instance so in what prospect rock on? Dunno what this film really wants to show anyway.
