Yes, your mom can rock jeans! I love all of the tweaks you made to her outfits. The only suggestion I have would be for your mom to change out her dark shoes for the lighter-colored shoes with the skirt outfits (just to lengthen her legs a bit) ! I'm thinking she would have looked taller and even more elegant!

Your mom looks wonderful in both the white and the denim jeans, as well as her other revised outfits. I especially liked her in the navy blue pieces. That skirt hangs away from her legs and, with her coloring, deep blue seems less harsh than black. Good job!
Shorter tops and tucked in tops helps a lot, jeans are fine with these tops. She is tall enough to wear the longer skirt line well! Yeah to mom for being a good sport!

Delicate topic but so true for so many older woman. Her bra does not seem to fit her well, give her the support she could use. This adds to frumpiness I would also like to see her wear more of a v neck or lower neck style. Nothing too low, but I find these higher necklines don't flatter older woman with larger breasts and extra weight. JMO...your Moma is a lovely beautiful woman just as she is tho!
Hello, I wanted to thank you and specially MOM! I have heard some of your tip before but on a different model. I don't know how tall your mom is but I have a similar body shape, age and only 4'11". Mom and I also have similar clothes, This video helps so much!!! I was thinking of getting a shiny dress, so glad to see this before purchasing. Now I understand why some of my clothes are so pretty but I don't wear because they don't look right. Just I will be decluttering lots of texture tops.
I always look forward to your videos. They are so fun, inspiring and informative. And the tips work so well. Also seeing your bubbly personality always brightens my mood instantly.
Sometimes the aversion to jeans has something to do with having lived in a time when jeans were (thought to be) a sign of rebellion and hooliganism and such. And thoughts like that are difficult to leave behind. She certainly looks good in jeans! 😊 But if she's not (emotionally) comfortable wearing them, no big deal. 😉 One of my great-aunts was a very stylish lady who never wore denim in all her life; though I'm sure she could have carried the look if she had chosen. 😊

It would be helpful to know how tall your mum is - as I find that is my issues since gaining menopause weight. No idea what to wear and what looks good. She looks very sporty in the blue jeans with the Chevron shirt. She can totally wear jeans. The polka dot set made her seem much more contemporary and fresh.
Honestly I'm not a fan of jeans for myself, so I like the most how it looks with tailored pants, and also with skirts - looks rly good. I think a long A silhouette dress would also look great with accessories too.

Please try. 😉 I have very visible veins on my legs (blue, and varicose). I don't think the general public needs to see them; so I don't wear shorts outside the house anymore. 3/4 length is about the shortest I would go. 😞 Styling help would be much appreciated. 🤷

On topic of jeans: the is a crucial difference between "classic" indigo jeans and a denim fabric pants (or skirt). Denim is quite structuring fabric and can create some very nice garmetns. IMO, there is nothing elegant about blue work pants. It applies to anyone - ditch the standard jeans, and you will instantly look classy, as long as you do not swap them for bermudas 😅. However, your mother looks very good in white denim!
Wondering if she could have kept the shiny skirt part, which I thought hung nicely about her legs, & paired it with a different top? Great video, am new here 😊
I did prefer mum in the white tee with the jeans. She looked comfortable and relaxed. Seeing the crotch area with a belly was my prob for a long time and not even shouldrr pads could hide them!
The difficulty with wearing trousers/jeans and wearing such a short top. Is that the top constantly goes up and shows the whole stomach. Not so flattering. I'm so hot I can't wear a tank top that goes down inside my pants, under a top. Then I boil over. How do I solve that problem? It looks really nice on your mom. Good tips and suggestions on how I can think to look nicer in the clothes I already have.
Lastly, I'm not sure what to think about that jacket only buttoned at the very top; creating an inverted *V* for the opening. I think it works here; but I think it might look like the belly is too big for the jacket to close. That's how i personally feel if I attempt that. Cute when heavily pregnant; but I'm not expecting but have a "mommy tummy" left over. It seems to me it's drawing attention to what I should like to hide... 🤔
Good thought here! Well I think it would have created this effect if the bottom piece was in contrasting color. Since the top and bottom pieces are tonal the eye travels upwards and the top button becomes a focal point, I think therefore it works here 👯

IMO, there is nothing elegant about blue work pants. It applies to anyone - ditch the standard jeans, and you will instantly look classy, as long as you do not swap them for bermudas 😅.

I did prefer mum in the white tee with the jeans. She looked comfortable and relaxed. Seeing the crotch area with a belly was my prob for a long time and not even shouldrr pads could hide them!
The difficulty with wearing trousers/jeans and wearing such a short top. Is that the top constantly goes up and shows the whole stomach. Not so flattering. I'm so hot I can't wear a tank top that goes down inside my pants, under a top. Then I boil over. How do I solve that problem?

Lastly, I'm not sure what to think about that jacket only buttoned at the very top; creating an inverted *V* for the opening. I think it works here; but I think it might look like the belly is too big for the jacket to close. That's how i personally feel if I attempt that. Cute when heavily pregnant; but I'm not expecting but have a "mommy tummy" left over. It seems to me it's drawing attention to what I should like to hide... 🤔
Good thought here! Well I think it would have created this effect if the bottom piece was in contrasting color. Since the top and bottom pieces are tonal the eye travels upwards and the top button becomes a focal point, I think therefore it works here 👯
