The most unbelievable aspect of this movie to me is that Gwen, a teenager who has not graduated high school yet, is a high level intern at this legendary lab. I won’t even get into her wardrobe.

What's wrong with that? They had a similar gig in Spectacular Spider-Man where both Peter and Gwen also were interns at Connor's lab. And they were just starting high school in that show. Also... a teenage girl dresses as a teenage girl. Where's the problem?
@@maxilchev6884 Well, I haven’t seen the version you mentioned, so I can’t really compare or comment on it. Although this is fiction and the entire premise could be considered ridiculous, I don’t expect many high school students get high positions like this, no matter how intelligent they are. I also would assume that a lab like that would have a fairly strict dress code that didn’t include short skirts and such. I’m in part basing this off of the college I attended for my undergraduate degree. Students who worked in any sort of lab were held to a very high standard when it came to dress and other forms of professionalism. Dresses/skirts weren’t preferred, but if you wore them they had to be at least knee-length. Gwen is supposed to be in high school, but in a world where she wasn’t in charge of so much, seemingly without supervision, she would likely be scrutinized for her level of professionalism.
I saw the Spectacular Spider-man cartoon series, and yes, Peter and Gwen worked for Connors.

The reason peter survived is because he has his dads dna, His dad tested on the spider using his own dna which is why peter survived when he got bit and didn’t die. It’s also explained in the 2nd film and that’s the reasoning behind why peter doesn’t give Harry his blood.
I like how just one spider is on him and just so happens to bite him, despite that he was just showered by them a moment ago.

This was always the most frustrating part of the movie, Peter not developing his own webs. Yeah he made the webshooters but to be able to understand the chemistry behind making a super strong webbing material is impressive.
He learns the formula for the webbing later on so he can replicate it. He can’t keep getting web cartridges from oscorp all the time

He had too much of a cool depiction that really didn't make sense for him to be down on his luck. Plus he was constantly stuttering and was just wasn't anyone people could even get behind. Both Tobey Maguire and Tom Holland fit the image much better.

Just because he does all that stuff doesn't make him fit the Peter Parker persona. His appearance, skateboard, and personality make it really hard to buy he's the nerdy genius Peter Parker is. He doesn't fit the image at all. Tobey Maguire fit the nerdy, down on his luck image of the character. And Tom Holland fit the unpopular, socially awkward image. Andrew Garfield doesn't have any of that.

I love this version of Spider-Man, for the simple fact that he was the first to create the webb shooters
It was in terms of live-action (i think, but there may be some older, more unknown versions). But considering it was actually weird in the first place, that first raimi trilogy gave him organic web shooters cause in 95% of character adaptations he has designed by himself web-shooters... Its not much of an achievement really xP

I think it's stupid or doesn't make sense that Peter should make "web shooters". He got bitten by a radioactive arachnid, giving him all the characteristics of an arachnid times 1000. So why should he have to make webs? Real spiders make silk naturally. Tobey's spiderman made sense. Organic webs 👍🏻 it's like being a bird without wings...I never understood why Stan and Ditko decided on that, besides the obvious.

I found something out from reading tv tropes for this movie.
"The top clearance facilities of Oscorp, like the room full of spiders where Peter is bitten, can be accessed with a simple hand-gesture lock like the ones on smartphones with no need for a keycard or a biometric recognition. Meaning that anyone with a good memory who sees the lock being used will know how to get in undetected. And they don't verify the ID of students claiming to be there for the tour. Deleted scenes revealed that Dr. Ratha recognized Peter and purposely allowed him inside to be bitten, hence the line from trailers: "Do you think what happened to you, Peter, was an accident?"
This means that he knows about what Richard Parker did, and planned for Peter to be nicked,(bit) by a spider,and become a enhanced human.

i just realized Peter is the result of the cross species, the perfect specimen. Not only that he got cross genetics DNAs of spiders. His dad making a failsafe is so brilliant move to keep osborn from getting the research and made it into bio weapons. Also the failsafe is the key to the cross species to work, if Peter and Connors knew the failsafe peter's dad use on the spiders, maybe the lizard DNA would not become rampant and Connors would become like a Peter.
