I got a leather belt at American Eagle about 15 years ago… wore it every single day even at my construction job and it finally started coming apart.. I think I paid around $20-$30 for the belt! Wish I could find one like it that will last that long for the price!
Same! I have an AE belt my mom got me in the 2000s and it has 4 metal fasteners by the buckle instead of stitches and it’s been my only belt and still holding up. Looked on eBay but can’t find one exactly like it. I actually just opened a Hanks belt and compared it to my AE belt and like the AE belt better as far as the buckle goes cuz the Hanks buckle has so much room to wiggle
@@TJTroubleMaker see mine was stitched instead of riveted.. I was still very surprised at how long it lasted tho.. just a few months ago I picked up a Buffalo Head brand leather belt and I must say.. I LOVE IT!! Might be worth a look.. I believe it was around $70
I've been wearing the same belt every day for the last 30 years. It's finally cracked and worn enough where I can't use it anymore. I'm gonna try an American Bench Craft after looking at some reviews. Thanks for your perspective.
that 80 dollar belt looks very sturdy, well built and can patina, that is what I look for in a belt, in 80 days time you will have reached a dollar per wear then youd be in cents per wear and you enjoy watching it patina as time goes on, at the end of the day at least you aint spending $400+ for a plastic LV belt that muggers lookout for
I have a MAIN STREET FORGE belt made in USA for $35 -50 and they are just as good as a $80 dollar belt and I'm on my 2nd year. Check them out you won't be disappointed in quality goods. If you ever gonna spend over $100 for a belt I would buy HOLLOWS which make a belt that will be around when you have grandkids.
Sadly, Amercian Brenchcraft doesn't seem to have any more belts in stock and there's no delivery date for when more will be available in their Amazon Store. [sigh]
Belt is perfect, hasn’t stretched hardly at all. The wallet is awesome, darkened up over time a lot and the card pockets have stretched a little bit. It’s about time to consider a new one so I don’t lose something!
Back to back color 501 Levi's pure leader and pure branded a and shoes pure leader and branded size of item the belt is waist 28 and the shoes , size 39 I order now

Same here wore nine for 12 years and the salt from sweating eroded the bucket and it eventually broke on me

There are plenty in stock now
Do you think it would hold up well to having a water bottle hung on it?
It’s pretty sturdy, I don’t see why not
Hanks belts ftw
i like a leather cattle collar from weaver leather 1 /3/4 wide available from tractor supply about 25 dollars
If you ever carry, I recommend the Blade-Tech belts. The poly insert makes it stiffer for carrying.
Thirteen50 Leather makes a nice belt, as well.....I have several and have been very happy with them.
Just ordered one.
How is this about holding up after two years in the wallet?

My pappy had a belt like that, I used to get it regularly. He wore an onion attached to it, as was the style in that day.
Lol love it
