    One of the best videos on foil work. Great suggestions and technique plus client timing recommendations. Would have loved to see the raw foil pull in the sink. It’s the most delicious part. No overwhelming thumping music. Quite excellent !⭐🙂

      @dnllmaurer1 3 роки тому

      That caught my attention too 1st time I watched her foil. I copied her method. Once I found the rythum, it saved lots of time. Getting lightener on the hair quickly ensures an even lift. She also prefers a slightly looser mix to easily saturate hair & uses heavier foils to hold their position without slipping during the process. I've learned many helpful tips watching her & I'm grateful!

    Where is the problem if we bleach the regrowth and make dimensions by hair color

  • @audreypurple2785
    @audreypurple2785 3 роки тому

    i have a question about #3/#4
    i was told it's not a good idea to apply lightener to just washed hair, an oilier scalp is ideal. is the reason you're able to safely wash/clarify prior to bleaching bc you added olaplex?

    • @nathanbarber4752
      @nathanbarber4752 2 роки тому

      The bleach isn’t going on the scalp so it doesn’t make any difference if the scalp is oily or not, if anything the oils in the hair would act as a barrier for the lightener. But wouldn’t recommend shampooing your client before highlighting because it’s going to extend the appointment by at least half an hour because the hair would have to be blowdried before you lighten, and than you’ll have to shampoo and blowdry again when the processing is done, it’s just unnecessary work

  • @heatherlambert5331
    @heatherlambert5331 3 роки тому +2

    What type of foils are you using? They look like they have texture to keep the hair from sliding while applying the color? Is it that or the brush you’re using? Worst thing ever is when I am working on a foil and the hair starts sticking to the brush or the foil is sliding.

      @tonyhamilton7870 3 роки тому

      Never a response

    • @RayeWebber
      @RayeWebber 3 роки тому +1

      I’m a licensed and timing varies depending on your experience and the clients hair density. For thicker hair it usually takes me approx 30 minutes for a partial blonding service if they are brunettes just looking for very natural look with lots of dimension then I would say 20. If it’s a full head and they are naturally dark but like to be very blonde your going to be packing a lot of foils in so anywhere from 45 minutes to 1.5 hours for foil placement. It all depends on how much dimension you want left in the hair at the end, how much lighter the client wants to be in the final result and how dense their hair is. Thinner hair is quicker as well as shorter hair is quicker. My advice get a mani head for home and practice foiling different techniques Using conditioner like in hair school it will increase your speed overall.
