How the hell does DS find these deals? How long do these prices last on Ebay before the fad blows over. Seems if you have a lot of resellers buying the same items on DS will flood markets on Ebay for those items and drive prices down

There are no shortcuts
You have to be first on these trends. Trends will always fall off because something new will be trending to take it's place. I'm sure they are using a bot program. They are also killing it because not only are they getting a monthly subscription fee for their channel, they are making money off the affiliate links.
Yup. Another factor is that clearance items are more likely be low demand. So even if you get some listed before others flood the market, yours might move too slowly. In addition, if they don't sell you'll lose your cash because most stores don't accept returns on clearance items.
Deal Soldier might be a bit better on finding flips, case variants, and viral products. But I have a whole video's worth of reasons why those methods often don't work either. But I still have 3 weeks of my subscription left, so who knows. Maybe it will prove itself useful.
So I did the 7-Day free trial and I will say that it has its benefits for sure however I feel like the asking price is a bit high. I would recommend to people who have a flourishing store already or someone who is very experienced with retail arbitrage. At the $35-40 a month price tag it's not for beginners even if it's marketed as a spoon fed retail arbitrage. That being said I found some pretty good deals but decided it wasn't for me at least not at this time. Just watching him go through the process reminded me of why I decided not to continue with the subscription 😂

To the point where ive gotten my first affiliate link shared with someone random that saw what i was selling .! My biggest take is that the more footwork you put in and more stores increase your chances of finding great items . Ty man

Been struggling with it since I bought DS after your first video but this helps a lot. My problem is I live in a small town (10,000 people) and about the only retail in town is Walmart and Dollar General. DS has some stuff on these but I have to do some zip code juggling on Walmart for other towns in the area to see who has stock etc. Your retail arb section really helps though, I’ll try to figure out that next. More DS examples will help. Keep up the good work on UA-cam. I enjoy your instructional vids.

I agree. For me the worst was the home depot items it said were "hidden sale price" but take them up front and they are full price. I did spend about 20 hours over the course of my free 7 days and I found nothing other than some blue denim crocs at TJ Maxx but those things felt like knock-offs so I didn't get them. It does give you tons of hits on finding a super treasure hunt hotwheel but those things are needles in a haystack.
@@titantv9496 The problem with something like this is that if there are, say, 6 items at a local TJMaxx that would make good flips, then the first person to get there will probably get all six of them. If the store opens at 8am, you better be at the door at 8am looking for that item, because all it takes is one other person in town to be on Deal Soldier, too, and the items are gone by 8:30. It's impossible for you to know if that happened, or if there just aren't good deals in your area. I would like to know who is actually putting the deals on Deal Soldier.

Same, and I live in an area where I have a thousand stores near me to shop at and didn't find anything really profitable except for some of the stuff I bought on Amazon. I honestly think I will stick with the Goodwill thrift store style arbitrage.

I'm surrounded by all of these stores living in the Tampa, Clearwater, Florida area.
They are open late too, like 10 and 11 pm so I can shop after work instead of just the weekends and lunch breaks.
Not a good app tried and too confusing waisted my time no deals. Just not good.
I do agree it is hard to understand ( my opinion) the app could be more informative on how to use it
Man, I had to cancel before they started charging my credit card some $35 a month. Maybe I'm just old and dumb but I couldn't figure out how to navigate the thing and the people couldn't explain it to me without using words I didn't understand.
It helps to spend an hour or two just messing around with the app at home. My head was spinning trying to the app when I first got it, but it's simple once you learn to use it.

I swear that Jayson Tatum Funko Pop that was not signed was mine lol. How often are you actually able to find these items in the stores?
What percentage of the items you pick up on DS end up on eBay and what percent end up on Amazon? I only sell on eBay, do I need the Amazon “premium” to make most of the deals worth it? It seems like some items sell for much higher (premium price) on Amazon, but with the trade off of higher return rate.

I think I’m going to check this out. I used to use brickseek and yes the stock levels and inconsistency can be frustrating wether it be the retailer or brickseek but it did give you leads and rabbit trails on what to keep your eye out for in multiple locations. Even if it shows a specific location and you swing and miss check ALL of the tj maxx, HD, Lowes, Marshalls, Burlington, Ross within 30 miles or more if you can.
I’ve been doing more OA so haven’t been to the stores but in the coming weeks I will be out there. Thanks as always man been having some heath issues of recent but I’m getting back on track. Hope all is well
