    Hi! I usually multiply by 0.75 so that one electrical horse power is equivalent to 0.75 kW. Not super accurate but I think it is good enough for doing stuff on the fly. Thanks for the video!

    I like Polestar, but I just cannot get passed the pricing strategy. 3k extra for adaptive cruise control, even in performance package. 5k extra if you want a glass roof. So the Polestar 2 Performance with those added comes to 74.4k EUR. That is 14.4k more expensive than a Model Y Performance. 9k more expensive than the Model 3 Performance before the Highland refresh. I mean... Why? You can get a Nio ET5 Touring with the "buy the battery" option + all the bells and whistles, like the dimmable glass roof, massage (the comfort pack) and everything. at 67k. Why Polestar?

      Your logic is a bit like comparing BMWs to Ford. BMW extras are super expensive as well but to be fair it is also a higher quality car. To me percieved quality in the Polestar is a step over Tesla - and a step under BMW.

      @@christianolsen9781 I did test drive Polestar 2, I strongly disagree. I have a Model 3 2023 pre-Highland, build quality is not that different, if in some cases better than Polestar 2. I haven't test-driven Nio but did test Zeekr 001, I'd say build quality is even better than Polestar 2. The whole "bohoo Tesla build quality sucks", "Tesla service sucks" comments usually come from the US. Within the EU, the service works fine.
      Also: I am sorry but this is 2023. It is inexcusable to have the bloody adaptive cruise, a technology that existed for decades now, as a 3k extra in a 67k car.

      That’s the exact math that I did and the same conclusion I reached. Also: instead of improving weight and efficiency, Polestar just added a larger battery to increase range … lazy.
      We sat in one and were impressed initially. But in the end it’s a very overpriced Chinese car with plenty of bugs in the software and the app.

    My 2024 Polestar 2 PPP is faster by a few tenth and that was with less than 80%. I actually got a really good deal in the US and yes all 3 P upgrades are a must although the Pilot assist is to be determined. Maybe I'll post a video with an unfiltered opinion.

    Great to see such rigorous testing and comparison. People wave their book figures around but they are certainly not to be trusted. This is the real data!
    I'm also very impressed that the Polestar built-in launch app is pretty close to the Dragy output, and slightly slower when it's out. I expected that app to read a few tenths faster than reality to make the car look better. Respect to Polestar for not doing that.

    Damn. I thought I was so close to thinking about considering the Kona 2024 and then limp mode at 5%. 🤦‍♂️. Oh well, I will skip the Kona now and wait and see what E3 will bring to the table. I was think if V2L is supported if it's possible to connect an external 2-5😢Kwh powerstation to the 220 V internal plug and let the Kona charge while driving from that external powersource. That, I think would be an awesome third party solution. Naturally I agree though that driving to 0% would make more sense to solve. Let's be honest it's weird for an EV to limp at 5%. Even in smartphones at 5% I can still browse the Internet and watch UA-cam videos. It's what we expect. And we know at 1% it's time to set phone to ultracomservatoveode and start looking for the nearest charger.

    Nice specification improvement but the new grille doesn’t suit the car, some more premium interior materials would have been nice, the centre console of the Polestar 2 feels pretty cheap

    After having driven an average accelerating EV, I can confidently say I do not want a performance version of any EV. Don’t like the feeling. I do like rollercoasters and fast ICE cars

    Chinese product is good today ??
    what about water leak inside like a pool ?
    what about underneath rust ?
    i have a 2022 electric Volvo with lot of problem
    i change the battery under warranty new in the box MADE IN CHINA
    and now the electric motor is very noisy , back order from China
    all parts broke one after other
    next time i will buy a Chines car at half price
